I had used a different optometrist in Carmel (Abrams) since moving to the area for my last three pairs of glasses, but was never particularly impressed. They always seemed indifferent to whether they kept me as a client and were slow, etc. Loman was refreshingly different. From the moment I called to make the appointment to my picking up my glasses I felt like they were very concerned about me as a client. They were friendly, prompt, professional and as best I could tell were using current best practices for evaluating my eyes and then measuring me for frames. The receptionist even went the extra mile in figuring out what my insurance covered after my telling her I didnt have coverage. I was wrong, and her being extra diligent saved me a bunch of money. Short of having a glass of wine for me at the end, I dont know what they could have done better.

The staff was friendly and patient with me. It was the most thorough and detailed eye exam I have had. I feel the process to get the lenses just right for my vision and how it was set in the frame was great. After MANY different offices and doctors over the years, Ive found my eye care professionals.

Dr. Berghoff and her staff are phenomenal!!! My family and I love their kind and caring attitudes, and the personal feel of the smaller office. Their prices are better than the chain stores simply because the products are higher quality!

Super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, great with kids , great frame selection. I can schedule my appointment on the same day as my kids, all get seen, works out great. Amanda at the front desk is very sweet and never forgets a face.

Dr. Berghoff is excellent. Ive been going to Loman Eye Care for 20 years. They take excellent care of their patients and have a fantastic inventory of frames.
