If I could give this office zero stars I would. Take it from someone who knows this practice personally. The dentist is aggressive with patients and has very little tolerance for kids. When a young child was crying and upset because of their fear of the dentist, the Dr pointed his finger in the kids face and told him to "stop it now!", so naturally the child was more terrified and wouldnt let the dentist finish the procedure. At the end of the appointment the child was upset and asked if they could still have their two toys from the treasure box (incentive for kids) Dr Sharma actually laughed in the childs face and said "No, you dont get anything, you didnt listen." Personally I dont care what a child does, the dentist is a scary experience for adults, let alone a child. This behavior isnt acceptable towards anyone, especially kids. This is not the only experience witnessed of him being rude and just plain mean towards patients. He is overly aggressive when it comes to extractions, and wont admit when a procedure is above his level of capability, instead he will put the patient through pain when he could just as easily refer them to a specialist. The Dr. allows the assistants to do things that they legally are not allowed to do, under the guise that he is right there watching the them.Dr. Sharma does not give good dental care, Ive seen person after person come back due to pain or discomfort from fillings that he has done. Typically someone may need to have their filling adjusted once, possibly twice, but not the 3 or 4 times ive seen some patients come back in to get their fillings redone. When you have a high volume of your patients returning because they are in pain due to a filling youve done, you would think this would tell you that youre doing something wrong. This practice is all about the money and not about the patient care, personally, Id rather go someplace that isnt so focused on how much my money can line their pockets. Take my opinion for what its worth, but then again, why chance it?

I have had multiple bad experiences with dentists and today was the first time I did not. In fact, I had a wonderful experience and as long as I am living in Indy, this will be where I go. I had an afternoon appointment, and as soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and given the paperwork to complete. When I went back, the dental hygienist/assistant was extremely nice and conversational and seemed genuinely interested in why I came in. When I met the doctor, he was exactly the same way. When I told him about my chronic jaw pain, instead of brushing it off like the other doctors Id been to, he was genuinely concerned and figured out the cause of the problem. I have a small mouth and my wisdom teeth had nowhere to go, and he suggested I get them all removed at once so as not to have to go through the whole process twice or more. It was my last day at my job (i.e. also the last day I was covered under my insurance) and they went the extra mile and did all the extractions right then. Any other practice I would have been scheduled in weeks later, I was completely shocked. During the surgery, they were both extremely reassuring and constantly checking if I was experiencing pain, whereas once again Ive had experiences where the person doing a medical procedure would just say "its just going to be painful and theres nothing I can do." From the x-rays getting taken to the fourth and final extraction, I was treated with kindness and dignity and am so happy to have found this wonderful organization and staff. If I could give it more stars, I would!

The team at Brookside Dental were absolutely AMAZING. I hadnt been to the dentist in probably 6 years and they were willing to take the time to take care of me instead of trying to rush me out and move on the the next patient. The ladies at the front desk made me feel right at home, Eva was very gentle and understanding of my anxieties while Dr. Sharma made sure I understood the process for the next steps. They clearly showed me what my insurance covered and what I had to pay out of pocket while allowing me flexible payment options. I finally felt like I could focus on my health rather than worrying about affording the bill. I can truly tell the Brookside Dental team genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of their patients and go above and beyond to make sure theyre taken care of. I can honestly say I look forward to seeing them again!

Worst experience I have ever had! I have a top denture and have had some pulled on the bottom, thought Id come here out of convience, never has extractions hurt so bad! He yanked and pulled and cut so hard I think I pulled a muscle in my neck! When h3 put in the novicane he didnt even tell me just stated stabbing me, Dental assistant was a joke! Then after all that hassle he tried to give me hydrocodone 5/325 thats what my other dentist gives me for a tooth ache near less 4 extractions and stitches..the last time I had an extraction I got percocet 10/325. I still have multiple extractions to have done. I promise I will not be returning to them to have it done. UPDATED: 3/20/16 just pulled my SIXTH piece of broken tooth out of my gum! thought that is what i paid them to do, didnt know I would be pulling my own teeth out pieces at a time!

I have been to a lot of Dentist over my life and coming from Northern Virginia where you receive top notch, Cadillac service and equally Cadillac high prices, I was apprehensive about going to BROOK SIDE DENTAL CARE, a neighborhood Dentist in Indianapolis. What I found was an unbelievably competent, Dentist, that I have to Rate as THE ABSOLUTE BEST DENTIST I HAVE EVER BEEN SEEN BY. The first day when he was done removing a tooth almost fused to an 30 year old crown and bone, I was sitting there thinking, thank God YOU became a Dentist. Much of the work I have had done has not been easy but he has gotten it done. If a Dentist can have a bedside manner then his is A+. He is patient, flexible, informative, respectful and kind. The facility is modern and clean. All of the staff are also patient, respectful and kind.

During my visit I encounter the office reciptionst, at check in! She was very sweet, professional and an all around had a very welcoming positive attitude! I appreciate that breath of fresh air as I would say with her welcoming me and my girls into the clinic! In addition to that the main dentist is always very informative when it comes to my girls overall dental care, keeping me aware of all the results and of course the cavities my children had! The remaining staff is very professional and treat my daughters very well. Thanks team Brookside you rock. I dont mind making an 1 hour drive to this location, with knowledge of knowing I will feel appreciated and respected! Thanks again.

Brookside Dental is wonderful!! The Dr took care of me so well. The staff was great. I was in pain when I walked in and I had no wait. They took me back and insurance was already approved for service and x rays. I had high blood pressure and the doctor even allowed me to take my Meds and come back the same day when it lowered. He still took me straight in and no wait. I had very stubborn teeth and he worked with me and was very delicate. I usually go to a dentist in Geist and they had horrible service. I was very skeptical about going on 10th street. But it surprised me. Clean, professional and great service. I just found a great dentist and Im keeping him. Very impressed!!
