I had not been to the dentist in 6 years because of a prior poor experience with another dentist. My wife dragged me in and it was simply an awesome experience with Dr Marrs and his staff. I had 2 bridges, a root canal and 2 cavities. I didnt feel a thing and now plan to go every 6 months....Best dentist ever. I am no longer afraid! What impressed me the most is the convenience. Dr Marrs even got me in on New Years eve at 6:00 AM with just a few days notice. He even answers the phone sometimes when his staff is busy doing other things. What other Dr or Dentist does that? Finally, Dr Marrs is brilliant. He was a licensed pharmacist before he became a dentist. Two tough degrees...One at Butler. Go Bulldogs. Finally, my daughters and wife simply love him. I recommend him to anyone I see.

I originally went to Dr. Marrs to get a crown recemented. My first impression was awful, as he had gotten way too much cement on the crown and had a very hard time cleaning it up. The next appointment was a cleaning and xrays. He then told me that I needed 2 root canals, 3 crowns and a cavity filled, a total of about $6,000! THEN the crown that he had recemented came off AGAIN! I went to the dental school in downtown Indianapolis to get a second opinion. They said I just needed to replace 2 crowns that had chipped where my tooth and crown meet.... $1200. The tooth that Dr. Marrs wanted to do a root canal and crown on is completely fine and I have NO cavities! Dr. Lucas Marrs of Castleton general and implant dentistry is either a crook or he needs to go back to dental school!

I had only been to the dentist one other time in my life before visiting Dr. Marrs (Im 25) and was, of course, scared. The staff was extremely pleasant and Dr. Marrs was very thorough and explained everything that he needed to do and was very gentle about it making sure I understood the procedure and costs associated. The following week, I got all of my work done and experienced no pain at all - he made sure that there was no discomfort and I really felt at ease. Im no longer afraid of dentist visits and will absolutely stick with this office! They are fantastic!!

Dr. Marrs and his staff are absolutely BRILLIANT! I needed a tooth extraction immediately. Dr. Marrs got me in the same day I called and had the tooth out before I knew anything; no pain at all! He and his staff are very professional and personable. Dr. Marrs explains the care he is giving in understandable terms. I love the fact the office is so accessible with any after care needs.

Like a few other reviewers, I had not been to a dentist for 6 years, since I was 18. Dr. Marrs and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable, took the time to explain everything, and were very pleasant. I am no longer afraid of the dentist!

OUTSTANDING!! Ive been scared of the dentist office since I was 8 yrs old; I wouldnt even go for a cleaning. In addition to being a great dentist, Dr. Marrs has a great bedside manner and is sensitive to the fear. I no longer dread going!!
