Dr. Dykagraaf is good there. I recently had my treatment for root canal from there. They actually send patient to another specialty for a root canal and then they do crowning in Jeffersonville. They are very expensive and greedy. The Porcelain Crowns usually cost $599 they charged $899 they said their quality crowns and lab workmanship is superior then other facility from where they order it. Now pay attention to this about their quality crown " I had to take off from work and visit them twice b/c it didnt fit into my mouth well due to poor lab workmanship from where they order crowns. 3rd time when I visited them they did lot of grinding on the tooth to fit it. Also it didnt match the color of my rest of the teeth. Dr Dygagraaf offered her help n said if I can wait she can get it replaced again with same color like other tooth. I already waited over a month I said just place it I cant wait" Over all they charged $1300 or so while root canal charges were separate. They exhausted all my insurance money. Please do your search and read all reviews before you go there.

I was not very pleased when our dental coverage changed and we needed to choose a new provider. We had gone to a mom and pop office for years and all of our choices seemed to be mega-offices. I figured wed have trouble talking to real people when we called and services would be much more impersonal. Boy was I wrong! Dr. Wright is wonderful, the staff at the Jeffersonville office (from behind the desk to the dental hygienists) couldnt be friendlier or more helpful and, to top it all off, I feel like Im getting better dental care. I will say that the first time I tried to set up an appointment, the office was closed in the middle of the week. Why? The whole crew was set up in the community to provide care to those without financial and insurance resources to afford dental care. When my daughter wanted to get her teeth whitened, she was encouraged to wait a bit when the price would be lower and the proceeds would benefit a charity. I think you guys are wonderful and appreciate all you do for my family, as well as my community. Thanks! Sally L.

If I could put a half star I would. Being a mother of 3 and juggling life and appointments I, sincerely, do my best. I missed one appointment because they took my information down wrong and said that I didnt have an appointment that was in my datebook. OK, no big deal then I rescheduled, then 3 weeks later I missed my confirmed appointment. YES I did it! I missed an appointment. So to me I missed one that I intentionally scheduled for myself. They called me started right in with a very smug attitude. I was told by the receptionist that I could not get another appointment because of this. So I am taking my business elsewhere. I am sure that this happens. I get it...I did not do this on purpose. The lady was VERY RUDE and I want to caution people that when they (Mortenson) mess up scheduled appointments it is still very much your fault as for when you miss an appointment accidentally or on purpose.

*Expensive and not accurate. Husband got 2 cavities pulled and during the extraction he advised them he could feel something was still stuck in the hole right after they pulled the tooth, whoever was pulling advised that it was normal and he would feel things differently now. 3 days later of pain and a wife telling him not to be a puss, we see that there is actually a tooth piece still lodged in the hole from where they pulled the tooth. He pulled it out with tweezers. Also this dental establishment is RIDICULOUS with their pricing! Extremely, EXTREMELY expensive even if you have the best of the best insurance like we do. There are multiple dental establishments that weve gotten quotes for crowns/braces/etc and they are always cheaper that Mortenson which is so disheartening. I wanted to give them a chance myself but their prices are insane. Its very conviently located though, which is a pro!

Dr. Wright is fantastic. I did not feel any pain when I had my teeth pulled. He is very concerned about you and even called me on the weekend to make sure I was okay. The office staff is very friendly and care for you as a person. Doc even called my husbands radiation doctors before he even worked on my husband. I have never liked dentists until Dr. Wright and staff. Whenever anyone asks about a dentist I am constantly recommending Dr. Wright. My smile is beautiful again, and I have more confidence in everything I do. They are the best around the Kentuckiana area. If the other Mortenson dentists are anything like Dr Wright go for it and see what I mean. you will not be sorry. No Pain, laughter, beautiful smile ... PRICELESS!!!

Mortensen Family Dental Jeffersonville is the best around!! Every time you walk into the office the whole office is very friendly and pleasant! Every visit that I have had, I’ve always had several good laughs with the doctors and staff. I have had a couple of emergency visits and they have found a way to get me in immediately or work around my schedule. My kids never complain about going to the dentist anymore. This office makes them feel so comfortable, which makes the process so much easier. They explain everything to you and will answer any questions that you have. I give this office, from the Doctors to the entire Staff….a THUMBS UP! If you need to find a great dental office….this is your place.

Mortensen Family Dental is the first dentist office I have really enjoyed visiting. Everyone is so nice there. They have a very flexible schedule, so even working full time it is not difficult to make appointments that fit my schedule with their hours. I really love my hygienist. It is so nice that every time I go I see her smiling face, because I have the same person every time. I will be going there for years to come and if the other Mortensen’s are half as good I would highly recommend going there for your dental needs.

Ive always had a good experience here. The use state of the art technology, are very friendly and patient, and have always got me in quickly. They are probably a little pricier than some other places Ive gone in the past, but based on the better equipment and software they use, I certainly think its worth it. Luckily I have had no major dental surgeries, but I have had fillings, an occlusal guard, cleanings done here for about six years. Dr. Dykgraaf is who I primarily see.

Every visit is better than the one before! Dr. Alyssa, Dawn, Tammy and Dana are always very kind, pleasant and comforting. There may not be a finer dentist on the planet than Dr. Alyssa, there certainly isnt a nicer person. Thank you for all you do!! P.S.

If I could give less than one star I would. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars with this group and they are the most money hungry group of "caring professionals" I have ever known. I would not recommend them to anyone. Go somewhere else.
