I have never been a fan of the rude and unfriendly receptionist here, but I always assumed it was a rough day and gave her the benefit of the doubt, but today I am absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated at Towne and Country Veterinary Clinic. This woman refused to sell me any heartworm preventative medication because I could not remember the name of the brand that I usually buy and accused me of trying to KILL my dogs by over medicating them! Now, I don’t know about you, but my dogs are my family and that is an offensive accusation! To make matters worse, she made me answer whether or not I was trying to KILL my dogs. When I asked to speak to the veterinarian about what had just happened she refused to let me, saying she did not have time for people like me! I have tried calling twice and again, she has refused to let me talk to an office manager or the veterinarian. I am fed up with this place. The veterinarian is nice but she isn’t nice enough to make up for the extremely POOR, DISGUSTING and OFFENSIVE treatment by her receptionist.

I highly recommend Town & Country Vet Clinic to anyone who is seeking a caring (and affordable) vet practice. I’m traveling around the Midwest with my Rat Terrier, Crystal, who suddenly became sick and I chose this clinic based on internet reviews. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet techs to the veterinarians were very caring. Fortunately Crystal is recovering now thanks to their care.

This vet has always been very kind and caring with my dogs, over the years we have spent thousands on our animals and she has been worth every penny. Last summer she came to our house to put my aging dog down and she(Diane) was so sweet like it was a member of her family also. This is the only place I will take my dogs and cats!

My 11 1/2 year old English Bulldog was seriously ill with pneumonia and heart problems. Dr. Farar gave me back my friend. I cant say enough about their wonderful service, expertise and devotion. Thank you doesnt seem enough.
