This billing department is completely incompetent and negatively impacted my credit score with their lack of communication. Unless you are legitimately about to die, I implore you to drive an extra hour to Evansville or Bloomington instead of going here. I had a short trip to the ER for a bad gum infection in August of 2015. A year has passed and I am now finding out that I have multiple outstanding debts to various collectors. I had tried figuring this out with my insurance just after the incident occurred, but they wrongfully submitted my claims (or didnt at all), then proceeded to bill me through the debt company without even letting me know of the situation.

Something Clever

Criminals with stethoscopes. Will continually bill you, for the same things over and over. When you bring your receipts and show you have paid, they will have mysteriously lost all of their records. I personally have had this problem along with 3 other family members. Billing department has no competence about anything and will, "have to get back to you on this matter" but dont worry they wont. Will not listen to anything you say. Drive the extra hour to Evansville, you will save so much money.

Worst hospital to go to. Doctors in the ER have no clue what they are doing. The hospital in general has no clue what they are doing. Doctors tried to treat a family member of mine for illness they did not have, and tried to over medicate with pain medicine. X-rays were taken for some unknown reason. They never told us why they took them and never told us the results. Hospital refuses to page our family doctor. I could go on and on and on. In the end, I wouldnt go there for a broken finger.

Brought daughter in for stitches. They did not do any x-rays and did not properly clean or stitch her face which led to a severe infection requiring antibiotic shots followed by rounds of oral antibiotics. Just had her to Riley and the specialist there said she has a fracture of the eye socket and the stitch job was so bad she will need to be seen by a plastic surgeon. Horrible place!

What was supposed to be a 7-10 day stay for family turned in to 18. They kept telling me my family member has Alzheimers. Well, he doesnt. Then paperwork for discharge kept getting held up and I wanted him transferred and a different facility told me they were lied to by staff. This place is like jail.

Very strict on there own personal rules. Not good on keeping you comfortable. I do believe they do very poorly on results of blood work I swear they just guess what you have and send you on your way. I give this community Hospital and F.

Dr. Heath was awesome!! He is the first doctor to actually take the time and do a friggin blood test. He diagnosed me with MONO due to EBV virus and oh boy am I feeling it! So yeah just want to thank him for his patience and time!
