FIVE STARS is not enough and 10 stars would be 10,000 short of my rating for the employees at Union Hospital and the care that they provided for my dad during his extended stay in Terre Haute. My family and I witnessed a diligent, knowledgeable, caring and loving staff of nurses doctors and technicians who are dedicated to providing healthcare and well-being to anyone in need. Thank you to everyone from the groundskeeper who was picking up cigarette butts and trash; to the front door receptionist with the understanding smile; to the person who made that great coffee in the cafeteria; and to housekeeping for providing a clean and welcoming atmosphere. From the front doors to the 4th floor, Thank You. You have all been blessed with a loving heart and a caring soul. We are so thankful to have our dad back at home. D.Cochran Jr and Family

My wife went to the emergency room earlier this year. They did bloodwork that evening and she went back the next day for a brief consultation of her results. She was there for a total of about three hours. No MRIs were done and no meds were dispensed. After insurance paid a small portion, we were charged almost $4,000 for that emergency room visit. Im not naive to think that medical care today is cheap but thats clearly excessive. I dont know that the other hospital in town is not as horrendously expensive but we will give it a shot next time.

Beautifully renovated and filled with caring staff. Cafeteria is stocked with a big variety of healthy, reasonably priced items. Parking is a little sparse and I REALLY dont like the piped in advertising blaring from a TV in the waiting rooms (VERY TACKY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE VISITING SICK RELATIVES, JUST TO PUSH YOUR AD DOLLARS)

My little girl broke her arm they didnt do nothing to make her more comfortable so far been 4 hours with good meds that wore ordered if anybody else in any field did this shity of a job they would be fired for this what a joke this will be our last er visit to this place!

Waited for 12 hours (yes 12 hours) in the emergency room to find a bed for my son after he attended suicide. There is NO psych doctor on staff at Union Hospital. Also waited in a holding pattern to find bed space for 7 days, No psych doctor ever visited with my son...

It has been over an hour and a half after treatment to be released. Got here about 11:20pm it is now "2:11" am was treated over an hour and a half ago just waiting to be released. I understand that hospital staff is busy but couldnt someone else use this room.

There is a broad absence of intellectual curiosity here. Most of the staff with which Ive interacted may make better factory workers than medical professionals. The building looks awesome though.

I went to the emergency room with blood pressure of 200 over 100 and a severe headache---- the physician told me to go home and pray, meditate, drink a glass of wine, and get some exercise
