I have always found the staff to be helpful and attentive. I used the service here for about 6 months. When i was injured on the job I was unable to walk. I spent several months in therapy in various forms and the work comp insurance kept trying to send me to Drs that said the same thing, Well just get used to it. You will never be able to do your old job again. I was never satisfied with this answer since I loved my job. I kept bugging them to send me elsewhere and get another opinion. They kept sending me to different therapies who said that since I could walk then I was as good as they could get me. I was able to walk but could not stand or sit or bend or lift without excruciating pain. When I finally pushed the work comp enough, and after 24months, they sent me to see Dr Kim. within the first 5 minutes of evaluating me he said I had severly compressed disks. I had previously had several MRIs that showed torn and bulging disks. He told me it could not heal unless the pressure was removed. While I was in the treatment I could not fel anything happening. I was depressed that my last hope was not working. I continued the treatment and strength excercise and now Im back to work. I wish I would have started here.

Dr Kim is such a kind and caring Doctor. I was being bounced around from one doctor to another, telling me the spasms in my neck, head and body were all in my head, that I can swallow if I wanted to. Dr Kim took one look at me and said I clearly have Dystonia, in which I was diagnosed with in the past but it just progressed. We were relieved to have a doctor who knew and understood Dystonia and not get bounced around from one neurologist and movement specialist to another, telling me that I needed to see a psychiatrist to retrain my brain. Dr Kim started giving me the injections and immediately I had a positive response. I go every 3 months to get the injections and each time, he says how he cannot believe the neurologist not listening to me and the notes that they had written. I see only him now for my dystonia as he is a very trustworthy and honest Doctor. He sat down, saw my condition with all the muscle movement for the initial exam then spoke to me about using Myobloc to help treat. Once insurance approved, I started with the injections every 3 months for my cervical dystonia and swallowing--I now can drink water and eat pured foods without spasms occurring.

I had a cervical fusion (C4,5 and 6) 6 years ago, the result of two bad car accidents when I was younger. I fought neck pain most of my adult life. Upon getting older arthritis set in my neck due to the damage over the years and it created large bone spurs which my nerves were wrapped around and tangled horribly. Before the fusion and removal of these bone spurs I was in a 8/10 pain range everyday. After the fusion I had minor relief. Over the next 6 six years since the fusion my life was lost, little by little. I lived on pain killers as the pain never went away. I had to give up most everything that brought joy to my life. My Doctor referred me to Dr. Kim as a hope of relieving some of my pain. Dr. Kim diagnosed me with Cervical Dystonia which no other Dr. had caught. The first round of treatment brought me a lot of relief, there are days where I am in half of the pain and that is HUGE with me! We have formulated a plan... to try and reduce the pain even more. I am not expecting to ever be totally pain free but this man, the Dr. has brought me more hope than I have ever had in my 40+ years of dealing with this.--S.I.

The whole staff has been very accommodating to my needs. If I ever had a question and did not understand it, they would explain it to me or Sunny would explain it to me in his own cheery way. They have also been a very patient and caring staff. The procedure goes so fast because Sunny talks to you the whole way through and Justin makes you feel so comfortable. Justin is totally awesome. When I was first frustrated with my brace and somehow got the straps all tangled, he showed me an easier way to put the brace on so I could wear it under my clothes. Justin is also great when it comes to PT. If I said something else was hurting, he would give me more exercises to help strengthen the affected area. My knee is getting stronger everyday and I am glad I was referred here to Dr. Sunny Kim and the staff and made the choice to go with Stem Cell. I know I will continue to improve and this has kickstarted my progress. Thanks to all of you.

my overall experience has been very positive. Dr. Kim and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Kim listened to what i had to say and helped me understand what was going on and why i felt this way. I am very comfortable coming here and feel that thre care provided is excellent and the decisions made are in my best interest. The treatment I have been receiving has made a big difference in my life. I find that I am able to do some of the things i enjoyed doing before. Before treatment i wasnt able to do anything with out having a significant amount of pain. It felt like my muscles were being pulled off my bones. And with this treatment it has given me lots of relief so now I feel like I can at least function and have sort of normalcy.

I received treatment from Dr. Kim for SI Joint pain. He is friendly and so was his staff. He is an intelligent Doctor and in theory I thought his treatments would work. I followed all of his guidelines for pain control including receiving an injection and going through physical therapy in his office. When he discharged me from treatment he told me I was doing better and it was successful. I did not feel any better but spent hundreds of dollars on treatment. I realize his treatments may work for some people but I think he was untruthful about his success rate due to how quickly he dismissed me when treatment was not successful.

I have had a really great experience here overall. I came in with heel pain which I assumed was related to plantar fasciitis. After a TENEX procedure, some pain persisted and Dr. Kim discovered a split in my Achilles tendon that was causing the pain. After a PRP injection, the healing really got underway and, slowly, but surely, I was able to get back to my normal workout routine. I am so grateful for the non-surgical approach to all of this. Not having to be put under for surgery and not having resulting scar tissue from surgery are a real benefit in my book.

I went to 4 doctors before DR Kim none really seemed to want to help me. They would not give me an MRI which I really needed. The first thing DR Kim did was give me an MRI. After he viewed the MRI he wanted to see me right away. When he walked into the room the first thing he said was I can help you. And he has. He is so nice. Which is the first thing I tell people about him when talking about my knees. And he really does want to help. I would recommend DR Kim to anyone with any kind of joint problems. He has helped me so much.
