After seeing military "doctors" for 13 years and having worse care than what dogs get at the veterinarians office I got medically separated and had no way to get refills on medications. The VA hospital had a 6 month wait just to be seen and I couldnt sleep at all between kidney stones, hip pain, back pain and headaches from a TBI. I called around to different Dr offices trying to find someone that would see me. I must have tried 6 or 7 different offices and they all treated me like I was a crackhead looking for pain pills when all I wanted to do was be able to get more than an hour of sleep... Other doctors were extremely rude, Baptist Health Family Clinic in Cabot Ar was especially rude. They tried lecturing me over the phone. Needless to say, once I found Dr Duke in Searcy I was treated like a human being. I went from being in so much pain that I would wake up vomiting in the middle of the night to being able to get a couple of hours of sleep, which isnt much but is way better than what I was able to get. I have been passing kidney stones pretty regularly for about 12 years and have been to see urologists with no real help. I brought a kidney stone in just to bring it thinking that he would just say "yep its a kidney stone". To my surprise he actually tested the stone and checked my Ph and gave me a prescription to bring my Ph up enough to prevent kidney stones. Im on my second month taking the meds and the kidney stones have been smaller than what they usually are and hopefully they might actually go away... maybe. It may take a little while in the waiting room for your appointment but Dr Duke will definitely take care of you. I just wish that I had a doctor as good as him when I was in the military.

Besides being there to see Dr. James A. Simpson, a cardiologist, for my back problems disability review and being treated incredibly rudely (roughly handled, being denied having a witness/person in the room with me for my appointment, being angrily interrupted when trying to ask questions and him getting irritated any time I tried to elaborate, not performing a leg lift, trying to force my arm lift and then reporting to SSI that I "willfully refused" when he said "You can lift your arms higher than that!" and shoved them more, which of course hurt me.. Asked me to move my head around and walk across the room and didnt wait or watch long enough to actually examine my mobility before saying "Okay." Anyway, the reason for this review is that during my appointment a nurse at the clinic had a small black pig on a leash, walking freely during business hours. I cant consider that proper or clean under any circumstances.
