Frankly I cant say enough great things about Dr. Tu and his staff. Have been going to them since 11 referred to us by our daughter-in-law who was in Dental school residency at the UIHC. If anybody would know what a good dental office would look like she would...and sure enough we concur and have encouraged the rest of our family in town to go to Dr. Tu. We do not have dental insurance and so Ive always been hesitant to go but Dr. Tu and his staff are careful and respectful in what procedures they do and recommend. His staff are always friendly, smiling, takes time to get know you, remembers things about you...makes you feel like part of the family or community. I hate flossing and am not shy about it...but they accept it have never belittled me for not flossing as I should. His staff are really skilled. Recently, an x-ray showed suspicious spot (barely noticeable to me).... sure enough, Dr. Tu agreed and recommended me to an orthodontist...I resisted because it hadnt caused me any pain...lo and behold it was very infected. Thankfully was treated before it became abscessed. Thank you Mary and Dr. Tu!! Their office administration is also run very efficiently...hardly have to wait, they always follow up on appointments by phone or emails and understanding if you have to cancel or reschedule. Overall, I like the atmosphere that Dr. Tus has created and it shows in his staff. Its the best dental office Ive had in my 60 years. I would highly recommend Design Dental. Thank you!

The initial visit was pleasant and I left with my teeth feeling clean and feeling accomplished. Unfortunately this dental office was unclear about what my insurance covered. I asked several times, "Is this covered by my insurance?" and multiple times heard back, "yes." The surplus amount of X-rays they did (I believe it was 29) ended up costing me. After multiple phone calls and long discussions they said they would cover part of it. I still was required to pay over 100 dollars in co-pays. I dont mind co-pays. What I do mind is being deceived. If they were unsure what was covered by my insurance they should have said so and given me an opportunity to look it up or call. The lack of communication and unfortunate deceit left me with a taste of frustration and betrayal in my mouth; along with some clean teeth.

Both I and my kids have had positive experiences at Design Dental! The staff is very friendly, the office is clean and had a great play area for the kids. It was my sons first trip to the dentist and they made it very nice, speaking very kindly and letting him see and touch the instruments. The treasure basket at the end was the cherry on top and he was excited to go again. As for my experience, I was grateful how expertly the cleaning was handled and how quickly I could come back for a filling. The only thing I wish were different was that the initial new patient visit and cleaning could have been combined in one instead of two separate visits since arranging child care can be tricky, but overall I would recommend this office to anyone!

I had a previous terrible experience with an implant/crown placement, and Design Dental quickly quieted all of my fears. They were nothing but professional and reassuring, even when there were a few hiccups in my treatment plan. Dr. Tu and his assistant, Jamie, are my new favorite people. I wouldnt hesitate to go back to them if I needed any other procedure done, and I would recommend them to any family and friends.

Great service, to the point and not over exaggerated to get more money from you. They tell you the truth and dont try to sell expensive services for no reason. I liked the fact that they did not ask me to pay them up front and instead will submit the claim to my insurance and after that I can pay the difference. Great place great people best in town for those having Metlife Insurance! Recommended!

Top notch dental office!!! My experience was one of a kind. They have a beautiful waiting room with complimentary coffee, tea, and water. I was greeted by the front desk staff who was very kind and helpful. My hygienist was very thorough, and Dr. Jeremy Tu was very gentle and informative. I would recommend Design Dental to anyone in the Corridor area!

Ive been a client of Design Dental for more than 15 years and I cant begin to tell you the level of their professionalism and how simple "family values" come through on each visit. I use to be almost scared to go to the dentist, and not that I totally enjoy it today but Im less nervous and Dr. Tus staff is 1st Class!
