The Iowa clinic pain management dept will dismiss you as a patient for any minor issue. They wont give you any notice and they dont care if you have your pain medication or not. I went to fill my montly prescription and my pharmacy didnt have my medicine in stock, they were going to have to order it and it wouldnt be in til Monday. So I went to a different pharmacy, so I would have my medication, and the clinic let me go because of this. Then the clinic had the nerve to blame me and said they have "trust issues" with me. I have been at patient with them for 5 plus years, always passed my uas, and never had any issues. I had a valid script, my PA gives me 3 months at a time. I was so upset and crying when then called me. They could of cared less!!!

Dr. Hansen is an insensitive, incompetent quack. I had a nerve stimulator placed last May. He showed me where he was going to put it. Right on my pelvis. I begged him to put it in a place with more padding but he refused, saying I should gain weight. For six months, I suffered through a great deal of pain with the implant pressing on my bones. I finally talked him into moving it (at my expense) Today I walked in for a scheduled epidural. When I arrived, he said he wouldnt do it. His nurses said " He doesnt feel well" I was not allowed to talk to him. Do not go to him!

Awesome, compassionate Doctor. My wife has been going to him for 3 yrs. Dont listen to the previous review. This guy would give the shirt off his back to get you some pain relief. Weve been thru numerous surgeries and procedures with him and hes been very professional and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and judge for yourself.

Dr Hansen is horrible and doesnt care about his patients-only his new car! Very very rude-my mom left in tears and he could of cared less!
