Ive been familiar with the Bowling Green area for about three years now. I moved here about nine months ago and have taken my two cats and one dog to Alpine the entire nine months. Theyve been in business for more than 15 years, so theyve definitely been doing something right. There facilities are older and easy to underestimate, but their techs are great. You can tell how much of animal lovers they are there. Tammy especially convinced me that my animals were safe there, because she care for them as much as if they were her own. I always get super hot there, and I wish they would invest in some more air conditioning, but I think they have to keep it warm for the tropical bird that resides there. Anyway, Im not sure what happened during these other reviewers visits, but they have most definitely changed in more than five years. My pets are my absolute babies, and I trust Alpine with them. Dr Trace knows what hes talking about, and always answers all my questions to where I can understand. Also as a perk, their prices are competitive, and they are very knowledgeable about preventative health care for pets!

ive been to alpine several times and every time they have disappointed me. The docters seem very unexperienced and have man-handled my cats just to give them shots. Our cats have continually had bruises on them after they give them their shots. The last time, i had a flee problem and they told me that they would put front line on them for me. frontline kills fleas within 18 hours of appling the product. after they apparently put frontline on them (even tho there was very little product on them) fleas did not leave them. they continued to have fleas on them everyday since then. they charged us for 3 flea applications even tho it was apparent they probably took one dose and applied it to 3 cats. not only that but they always throwm in secrete charges that they dont tell you about. after telling them repeatedly that they are inside cats only, they contine to try to get us to give them rabies and leukema shots. they have to be the worst vet ive ever been to, and should be shut down for there very poor service.

We are new to Bowling Green and brought our two dogs to Alpine for a regular check up because one of our neighbors recommended them. We found the facility to be old and ran down. Inside it smelled heavily of pets urine. The floors looked like they have not been washed in months. Lady vet we saw did not introduce herself, she was cold and unapproachable. The visit took about 40 min. during which she and her assistant took our dogs one at the time to the exam room, without inviting us to come with. After she was done with our first puppy, she came over to tell us that we were using the wrong harnesses for our dogs. She also scolded my husband for the dogs not been trained enough, even though they didn’t bark once or threatened her in any way. If anything our puppies were terrified of her. I am pretty sure this was our last visit to Alpine pet care center.

Very good service, very friendly staff. The only complaint that I have had is that it seems they arent always knowledgeable about what vaccines, etc has been performed and what hasnt. They are very good with our dogs, gentle and friendly. I love to see the cats roaming freely around, not bothered by the many dogs that come through the door.

Wonderful experience at this veterinary clinic. While I was on an out of town trip with my dog, he started acting like something was very wrong with him. I was very worried, but thanks to a visit at Alpine, my doggy was feeling better within a day, and we were able to enjoy our vacation! :)

Facility is older but have had wonderful care for our 3 dogs which is what matters most. Very caring as we first medicated and then had to euthanize our precious older lab that had rapidly spreading cancer. Highly recommend Alpine.
