Ive been coming to Two Rivers Vet for a year and a half and up until now Ive had a good experience. However, I recently boarded my dog there (one of many times) and while I was out of town I received a voicemail stating that my dog (who was supposed to be in a crate, not a room) got out of her room at night and got into some pills. They gave me 2 options, either to have someone come pick her up and take her home or have someone pick up a prescription slip from their office, go to a pharmacy to pick it up, and drop it back off. The prescription was supposed to be something to calm her down. I received the voicemail at 11am CST and was required to get this handled before 12pm CST (1 hour). Fortunately, I had a friend that was willing to go pick up the prescription, but since she lives 30 minutes away from Two Rivers she didnt get there until 11:30. The pharmacist told her it would take 30 minutes to fill the prescription, at which point would have been past the 12pm deadline they gave us because they close at 12pm. I called them to say that someone is handling it but it might be just after 12pm. Instead of being accommodating, the girl at Two Rivers said "shell have to come back at 6pm then, well be gone." This was frustrating because my friend was already going a 1 hour trip out of her way. I asked if she can just leave it by the door, they finally said she can leave it somewhere on their property and theyll grab it when they get back at 6pm. Overall a very terrible experience. My friend ended up picking up my dog a day later and she said they were rude to her. If you want peace of mind while your away and boarding your dog, DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOG HERE.

We have nothing but positive experiences with them! We have taken several of our "fur babies" (as my wife calls them) to them! Them most recent experience was with one of our female long haired chihuahuas pups. He was born with his intestines out and I was going to put him down bit my wife was so upset! When I got there the staff was so friendly and the doc. Said he thought he could save him, so we gave it a try... pup that we named asher... (our Lil miracle) did so well after...gaining wait and looking so healthy! Sadly he did pass after a few days but although hurt my wife was so grateful she got those few day with him THANKS to our AMAZING vet!!!. ...Like a lady said be in another comment... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! one of the ladies in the office even offered to take him to take care of him over night because she knew with all the pups (and my wife & girls being emotional) it would be HARD on us! THAT was above and beyond her job!!! NOW thats what I call a good veteran office!!! Others opinions dont matter to me! If you cant afford to pay to take care of your "furbabies" you shouldnt have them nor do you need them!!! JUST SAYING!!! I how ever do know people do go through hard times but whats the need of bashing an awesome veteran office because you cant afford it?? NONE! THERES plenty othersout there! Find the one that fits you!

I have been coming to Two Rivers Vet for almost 7 years. Dr. Schlabach is wonderful !! He is very caring, and really takes time with you as a pet parent, to explain exactly whats going on with your pet baby, and what needs to be done. He takes time to listen to your concerns and gives you his advice. He has been a blessing and a wonderful friend and caregiver to my pet baby. He also used modern laser surgery on her instead of a scalpel, which was FANTASTIC....no down time and no pain. I hope more vets will start doing this instead of the old fashioned way of cutting and wound healing, when possible. His wife is nice, and the rest of the staff is very caring. I would highly recommend this vet to take great care of your pet baby! Also the other lady vet there is kind and good as well. Ive taken my pet to her when he was not available. Wonderful place to take care of your pets throughout their lives!! :):)

This is a great Vet. I am willing to drive across town to take my schnauzers to this doc. Some may think he is rude or overbearing but I do not find that to be true at all. (sounds like sour grapes from Jennifer G who found it necessary to post negative comments twice) And as for price..........you get what you pay for. I found this vet to be very compassionate when we had to put our Yorkie down and he always remembers the names of our animals. If you want a no nonsense Vet, this is your guy and he truly cares for animals!

your pet, go elsewhere. Unless you want the run around for three to five weeks. I had my puppy spayed here. She has a 5 inch scar on her belly and I was over charged according to my records. They charged me for a 51 pound dog when she only weighs 37. Im disgusted by the gross negligence of these money hungry butchers. If you love your animal, please go elsewhere.

Try calling in a desperate situation with your pet full of skunk - in the face - full vet records at a previous provider and be told "we need an exam". CONS. Do your job, make a call and above all - give yourself an exam.

Our whole family uses this Vet! Would not use anyone else for our dogs. Our dog had a bad tumor on his leg and they helped us get it removed and made payments. We could not have helped out furchild any other way!

My baby Oliver goes to this office and they are very sweet and gentle with him. I am a helicopter dog mom and they have my full recommendation. Reasonably priced and really love animals!
