Worst, most unprofessional Primary Care Doctor I have ever had. Took them WEEKS just to write me an orthopedic referral. The staff is always very rude, unknowledgeable, and they obviously dont care about their clients. First they told me I didnt need a referral to be seen by an orthopedic doctor. I called the orthopedic doctor and they said I do need to have a referral. I then went to the Urgent Care to have them write a referral and was then told that my Primary Care Doctor has to write the referral. I go back to Commonwealth Family Medicine and they tell me they will call the orthopedic doctor and send the referral over that day. A few days had passed, I called them back, they told me they had not gotten around to it. I wait for the weekend to be over, call them first thing on Monday morning and was told they will call and send it that afternoon and give me a call. As expected, no return phone call was made and once again I had to call them first thing in the morning on Tuesday. I was then told that she was going to call right after she got off the phone with me. I call once again an hour later, she tells me she hasnt gotten around to it. ALL IM TRYING TO GET IS FOR THEM TO SCRIBBLE A FEW WORDS ONTO A PIECE OF PAPER FOR ME TO BRING TO THE ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR. This is the WORST service I have ever had in regards to my health. These people do not care about the urgency of your personal health. They tend to care more about problems of their own. I will NOT EVER be returning to this QUACK of a practice. Please consider other options before you go to these unprofessionals! I do however think that Dr.Moorland is a good doctor that cares about his patients. The rest of the practice is a piece of work!

If I could give zero stars on this practice I would. I have NEVER experienced such a rude and disorganized team of medical professionals in my life. The office staff is disgusting when it comes to manners and professionalism. They return ZERO calls (when trying to make an appointment or asking an important medical question). There are no MDs working there, only PAs that seem to be completely inexperienced. I even called to see if I had an account balance to PAY them money, and they hung up on me and never called back. The emergency mailbox is ALWAYS full and messages cannot be left. They wrote a prescription that ended up being incorrect and when I tried to call and get it adjusted, the office staff (with a severe attitude problem) told me he was too busy seeing patients and Id have to call back later. I did- for 3 days in a row before it finally got adjusted!! The wait time has NEVER been less than an hour when trying to see the PA, even though there is never anyone in the waiting room. STRANGE!! The women who work up front look like they just rolled out of bed, sit around on their phones and talk to each other non-stop, which is likely why they are too busy to ever answer the phone, make an appointment, or return important medical questions. This place is a JOKE!!! I have ran a medical practice for over 10 yrs and would be embarrassed to be a practitioner here. This office should be permanently shut down.

Dont waste your time. My family has been there only a couple times and each visit there has been NO ONE in the waiting room but yet, we wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seen. Our final and last experience was with Dr. Dyer after my daughter twisted her knee really bad. They have NO x-ray machine in their office (??????) so we had to go down the road to get one, then when we didnt hear anything for 2 days I called back and was told if I wanted the results I would have to make another appointment and come back in. Thanks to Commonwealth, we are 5 days into a damaged knee without any more information than day 1. Scrounging to find an orthopedic that will see her, trying to hunt down diagnosis codes etc. Tried to get Dr. Dyer to call me back but "he doesnt do phone calls." Also, upon our first visits there we had physicals done where they ran tests that LabCorp is STILL billing us for - in spite of telling them we dont want anything ran that our insurance doesnt pay for. Save your time and money, get good care and go somewhere else.

Dr. Ben is awesome and that is why only I could not post single star. It is the facility staffs and the admin particularly who are the most rude persons I have seen at any clinic and are irresponsible with their work. They bill wrong and then multiple follow ups and even clinic visits does not fix it for 3 months and at last they start yelling for their incompetence and try to shut you down. My bills are still pending since Nov and all the attempts to resolve this with voicemails, clinic visit and phone calls are in vein. I hope Dr. Ben is aware of this pathetic his team is providing and the admins behavior towards patients when it is she who should be competent enough to run the facility with greater care provided. I would not visit this facility again and will come back and post my experience again in a month if at all they resolve it after even seeing this review. I just hope they woudl improve and yes my next follow up appointment with Dr. Ben will be cancelled - I need to find a better PCP clinic for me .

Would give a zero if allowed. Disorganized, complete lack of communication. Im a type 1 diabetic, and because of their complete disregard and apathy toward their patients health, I went over 2 months without my insulin and ultimately had to pay $600 out of pocket to finally get it. All they had to do in the first place was fax my I health insurance with a signature for a pre-authorization. This wasnt a matter of me getting some prescription such as a pain pill, this was my insulin, it was a life or death situation. And they showed complete and utter disregard and ignored all of my desperate attempts at trying to simply get my prescription. This is merely one example of so many others that showcase this offices disorganization and disinterest in their patients health and well-being. I dont know how else to describe it, because Ive never experienced anything like it. There has to be someone who can look into this practice. Something just isnt right, it never has been, and it needs to be taken care of.

UPDATE: Turns out I dont have to pay the EOB after calling and asking about the billing. Still the lack of adequate communication during this ordeal was very stressful. Im glad I called to find out I didnt have to pay the EOB. Nobody mentioned this to me during my visit. /END/UPDATE Original: They said I was covered with blue cross blue shield insurance for a ROUTINE physical. They charged my insurance company $2800 for unnecessary and unauthorized blood tests that were sent to a blood test lab that was not covered by my insurance. They made absolutely no effort to ask me if I wanted this to be done. They never told me they would do this. Thank GOD my insurance company is paying for a lot of this. Now I have a $350 dollar tab I have to pay for personally! Keep in mind this was a ROUTINE PHYSICAL that they said would be covered by my insurance. What a scam!!!!!
