Dr McGiffen answered my questions patiently and in a manner I could understand. My thought is that staff is very perfunctory and could work on interactions with patients. It is about performing their individual tasks. I did not feel welcome and valued. It was like I wasnt there, The office personnel should offer the coffee that is there, suggest I browse the eyeglasses. Remember the patient is the center of the business. Selection of eyeglass frames is limited. I have been treated with more care at a Walmart.

I highly recommend Mooney EyeCare Center. I took my whole family to the new Elk Creek, KY location and Dr. McGiffen did an incredible job. He made my 2yr old and 4yr old boys actually enjoy visiting and having their eyes checked. Dr. McGiffen did a great job educating my wife and I during our exams and we left very happy. You wont be disappointed.

Look no further for an eye doctor, weve been several times now, the office is eclectically decorated, frames for every budget, as well as high end designers if thats your cup of Keurig (coffee & tea bar included). Both Dr. Mooney and Dr. McGiffen take their time and are extremely knowledgeable. Our whole family are now patients.

Dr. Mooney does a great job. Ive been a patient for several years and he always tries his best to make sure Im comfortable and that my glasses and contacts work well for me. I can be a slightly difficult patient and he goes out of his way to take care of any concerns or needs that I may have.
