Im editing this review because I just saw another reviewer basically call Dr Shamlin greedy and Im furious! I have been seeing her for about 15 years and shes a million miles from "greedy". Thats just way off base! She is highly skilled, compassionate, warm, and really listens. She is open to non-traditional treatments if they have merit. She is sensitive to the financial costs of treatment and has never ordered unnecessary tests for me. The nurses that are in her office as I write this are outstanding too. Over the years I have found the administrative staff at BRFMC to be friendly and helpful as well. I will never go anywhere else as long as Dr. Shamlin is available.

I had been miserable for almost 6 years and went from doctor to doctor looking for someone who could help me. Most treated me like a psych patient and, after not finding anything on standard tests, would just send me home to suffer some more. A friend recommended Dr. Kenyatta Shamlin. The first thing that happened was that she REALLY listened to me. She was compassionate and professional. She was also willing to step outside of the box rather than label me with a stereotype. Within a month shed found the problem, started me on the proper medication and, as far as Im concerned, gave me my life back! Her staff is great as well. I wont ever go anywhere else.

Excellent!! Takes her time and really listens. She has a wonderful bedside manner. When I had to be referred to a specialists she made sure that the referral was in network with my insurance. Also, she is very prompt about informing me about medical test results. She is also very thorough; she has been able to get the bottom of medical issues that other doctors have missed over the years.

This doctor is very quick to diagnose so she can get to the next patient and more money. I asked a friend if her sister was any better, they just laughed. Do not go to these sisters if you need help. The general should fire them.
