They tell you one price when bringing in your pet and then after they perform the treatment they tell you it will cost a lot more. If you refuse to pay that amount they threaten to attack your credit and call the police if you complain. I even brought in a recording of the vet promising a certain amount and they still charged more and didnt want to listen to it. They told me over the phone that my plan would cost $34 monthly and would remain this way until the dog was an adult at which I might go down because the dogs weight would most likely remain consistent. This was all recorded and I offered to show them. However when I got there they said that the plan would cost $40 monthly or would only be valid for 6 months and they them denied saying it would last until adulthood. The other dogs I had in the plans were poorly treated as well. When my last Dog died after being a customer for 13 years, they told me that i would have to pay for an additional 3 months. Despite my past problems I was hoping things would be different. I guess not. On a side note one of their employees by the name if Christina was acting in a threatening manner by doing research on me on LinkedIn. She probably does realize that when you do research on someone on that site, that person is notified.

All three doctors (Dr. Stafford, Dr. Myers, and Dr. Murphy) at the Covington Banfield Pet Hospital are truly awesome, extremely knowledgeable, and care for every animal as if it were their very own! The techs and staff are always friendly and know and treat myself and our pets like family. Everyone takes their time to make sure our animals get only the best of care and we always leave with complete clarity and assurance of what was done. The prices are very reasonable and we never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for an appointment! I also love that we have the ability to drop off our pets for examinations any day of the week, as well as the fact that theyre open much earlier and later than other clinics around. They are also open all day on Saturdays and Sundays! Would highly recommmend this clinic to anyone looking for only the highest quality vet care around the St. Tammany/Tangipahoa area.
