The minute Dr. Eilts started up her own practice, we have been using her as our veterinarian. She started a house call vet service while she waits for her new facility to be constructed. Her prices are more reasonable than what we paid before, and we dont even have to use our own gas to leave the house. She offers discounts for multiple pets in the same visit which is something new to us... there was no way we could get all of them into the car for a 25 minute ride to the vet even if it was offered before! Dr. Eilts tells us that once her new building is finished and she starts up practice there, she is considering continuing the house call service perhaps once a day. Hopefully others will help us convince her to do just that. Shes filling a demand that many of us with busy lives have.

I came in because my regular vet was booked up and my dog needed to be seen. I just did a local search and found this place. Im not going to lie, I thought that the prices were going to be outrageous but they werent. The price to be seen was very reasonable, the staff was awesome and helpful, and the Dr. was amazing. I forgot her name, Im so sorry, but she gave me the diagnosis and the recommended treatment as well as answered all of my seemingly redundant questions. We are to follow up in three weeks! (P.S. - Cross your fingers, if no progress, then surgery for our pup..)

Best Veterinarian and Staff!!! No other Vet Office compares. They are compassionate, warm and treat you like your pet(s) and your account matters. The Staff are all very helpful, even helping me with a minor emergency (I clipped my dogs toe nail too short at 5:55pm) and saying I could come up for them to take a look eventhough it would likely be after 6pm/closing when Id get there. Do not hesitate to change to this vet if you are unhappy with yours. You will be so glad you did!!!

Hi, I just want to thank the vet for clearing up Daisys ear infection and skin. It has only been a short period while Daisy has been on her medication but, I see a definite attitude change. She is not chewing away at herself like she once was or shaking her head from the ear ache. I want to personally thank the vet because the vet we used before Southern Pearl didnt help at all and charge us for nothing. So thank you Southern Pearl!!!!!!!!!

We used Dr. Kara Elits for laser treatments on our American Bulldogs hips. She did these treatments in our home which helped to relax our dog greatly. Kara was gentle in working with the dog and administering treatments. After three treatments, our dog is a whole new dog. He is much more active, loves his walks again and can jump on and off the bed. The laser treatments and Kara gave our dog a few more active, happy years.

My dog has had to get stitches a few times and Dr. Kara has always gone above and beyond the call of duty when taking care of her. Having the in-house daycare is awesome. I can drop my dog off for grooming, and if I cant get back in time before they close then I can always pick her up the next day and know that shes been well treated with all the necessities and regular play times.
