Our beloved Becky, a greyhound/border collie mix was diagnosed by Dr. Swafford-Robertson here with Diabetes Insipidus. Its an extremely rare and difficult disease to diagnose and manage. Dr. S-R managed our fears and expectations with finesse and kindness and was very accepting of new treatments we brought to her. Becky loved to go there to stay (even after all the tests, etc.) and they loved her there. Unfortunately, the time finally came to let her go and we took her there to have her put to sleep. The experience, while wrenching, was made so much easier by all the caring staff. They closed the office as we left because they were all crying too. I have nothing but good things to say about AMC of FO. If we hadnt moved WAY across town to Red Bank, wed still be taking our pets there. Dont hesitate to seek their care and advice.

First off, I dont have a problem at all with the vets at this practice. They have always been compassionate to me and my animals. This complaint is to the staff. I had to put my cat down a few weeks ago and I requested that she be cremated and for them to please call me once they got her ashes. It has been over 3 weeks and I never received a call from them. I even went over there a few days afterwards to check and see if they had gotten them. They said rather harshly that they would call me as soon as they came. It was hard enough going back a few days after I said goodbye to my cat and being treated that way made me very angry. When I am ready for a new pet, I will not be taking it to this practice any more - all thanks to the office staff. If the vets would clean house in the staff area, maybe this practice would earn 5 stars in my book.

This place was horrible. The vet and nurse were extremely rude. I took my beloved dog and my money to this vet only to be told that I was "spoiling" my dog because I did not like how he pick my chi up by the throat to check his teeth. My dog was yelping. When I first came in (while I was in tears) the nurse asked me a series of questions. One of the being the rabies shot. I answered no because my dog never bites anyone. She told me she would have to have his head chopped off if he was to bite anyone. Also, not only did I pay for an answer, I never received an answer. I was just told how much I spoil my dog, how stingy I am with my money because I didnt have money to pay hundreds of bills for an xray. I was very displeased with this vet. I would never refer anyone to this vet.

While the staff members were kind and talkative, I found our vet to be very rude. We brought in our rat Freddie to see Dr. Hadden because he has been sneezing for a few months now. She was very condescending, bordering on insulting. She had a very "Im right and everyone else is wrong" attitude. She didnt listen to anything I or my boyfriend had to say and quite frankly treated us like we were idiots. She went right on with her presumptions as if we hadnt said anything at all. We paid her to sit in the back for ten minutes and print off Web pages. I definitely wont be going back there again.

I have been taking my rabbits here for years. It is hard to find a trusted vet...especially with concern to rabbits. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have neutered three rabbits for me and I would trust them with more. I also take my cat there. My brother has taken his cockatiel there before too for an ear problem. The vets are great because they will personally talk to you on the phone if you need them to.

was very grateful to the vet doc, for staying late to wait for us to arrive with our (pet). maynard is part of our family,as everyone knows that pets become very attached,and want the best for them when something drastic occurs.So thanks, again when everyone was going home ,or already left! This is a wonderful practice to take your pets to be seen for large or small problems. The staff is friendly and I really like the doctors. They are intelligent and really care about your pets. They do not try to push you into products and services you do not need. They have evening hours and work hard to accommodate their clients. I will always take our animals there to be seen.

Both the vets that have cared for my animals have taken the time to really pay attention, find out what was wrong even it meant doing additional research and respond promptly. They tell you all your options but do not pressure or guilt you into doing more than you can afford. Just nice folks who take good care of my pets.

I love being able to bring my puppy here. The staff is nice and very helpful. They make sure that both you and your pet are satisfied. I brought my puppy in there and the doctor went the extra mile by calling me and making sure that my puppy was feeling better. I appreciate your guys work and support in our local community.
