First, the bad stuff: I have literally lost count of the times that records were either misread or not consulted. This includes missing the notation that our dog had a severe anaphylactic reaction to the rabies vaccine at her prior vet. This notation was in the records sent over from the vet, and I also brought it up as a concern at the very first appointment at Community Care. Needless bloodwork was done due to failing to read the records (dog was not due for that test). Vet failed to administer kennel cough vaccine when due *according to the vet in a post-visit phone call*, and then later said that vaccine was not, in fact, due yet. The good stuff: Doc and staff is always friendly and are calm and compassionate. When the unneeded bloodwork was done, the vet was happy to credit our account for the cost. When they discovered they missed giving the kennel cough vaccine at the visit they agreed to waive the exam fee when we came in to get it. Summary: Bedside manner is great, and their hearts are in the right place, but their consistent failure to accurately consult records make the quality of care suspect (and in our case could have led to a dangerous allergic reaction for our dog).

I have been with Dr Deb for years and years and dogs and dogs and she is absolutely the best! Her knowledge is up-to-date but she always listens to us owners. She also tries to save clients money by offering less expensive options to consider. And she always has A#1 techs.

Ive had multiple surgeries done on my skittish dog to remove lumps. Highly recommend. Staff was great and felt they cared for my pet as their own. They went the extra mile and ensured my dog was comfortable. Highly recommend.
