This review is actually for one of the other doctors at Advanced Eye Care, Dr. Sally Mina. My wife has been seeing Dr. Mina, and I went along last month for her visit since Dr. Mina was dilating my wifes eyes. I was in the exam room during part of her visit, and was very impressed with Dr. Minas thoroughness. Since i hadnt had an eye exam in years I decided to see Dr. Mina too. As before Dr. Mina was very thorough, and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. She went into detail to make sure I understood the condition of my eyes, and always had a very friendly manner. Ive had many other eye exams, but never one so thorough yet pleasant. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mina and all the staff at Advanced Eye Care to anyone seeking a thorough and highly competent eye professional. The office is very clean and bright, and the wait was not bad either. Definitely a 5 Star experience!

Everyone I interacted with-- via phone and in-person-- was kind. I got a reminder call a few days before the appointment, and then a reminder text a few hours before it, which is nice. The office was clean and nicely furnished and decorated. I had to wait maybe twenty minutes past the appointment time, but Dr. Sober seemed skilled and was patient with my questioning, and the appointment itself was surprisingly quick; took my longer to pick out my frames afterwards. They seem to embrace new technologies: From SMS appointment reminders, to the online patient portal, to the tools used for examination. Im typically anxious about all things medical, but this was nothing but a good experience, and Im glad I went.
