My daughter (5yearold) and I went to Eastern Eye Associates and I was not impressed. The assistant did not know what she was doing, as she was new and not properly trained. Another assistant had to come in after about 20 minutes of her trying to do the exam and paperwork on the tablet. We both got our exam done by the doctor. The doctor Mrs. Meadows was very proffessional and didnt seem irritated by my kids getting antsy. My daughter and I got dilated. We picked out our eye glasses, while picking out the eye glasses my daughter was asked for the doctor to see her again. After we picked out glasses I was told the doctor needed to see my daughter again! So we waited..... and Mr. Meadows, instead of Mrs. Meadows, looked at my daughters eyes and gave us his diagnosis. I then tell him I am dilated too, I know usually the doctor looks again while your dilated. But they never checked me. We checked out after being there for 3 hours! We were never offered sunglasses after being dilated, luckily it was a cloudy day and it didnt seem to bother my daughter. I think next time I wont waste my time there.

In the past I have always based a place on their reviews but never follow thru with creating a review myself after my experience. First when I called in the receptionist was super nice and friendly and was able to book me appointment within a week for a eye exam. Even giving me information on my copay over the phone. The office staff were very nice and I was seen right away, even accommodating me with a sick child. Dr Gemma was super nice.. I was able to buy my glasses on site, which makes it very convenient. I would highly recommend them. My experience was wonderful..

I have been going to Eastern Eye Associates for a number of years and I keep going back because I like the atmosphere, the friendly smiling faces and the quality of care given. When friends ask me who I go to for my eye care I tell them Eastern Eye Associates. Great professionals that take the time to explain to you everything that they do and find during your examination and thats important to me. They have also provided eye care for my three daughters from grade school and after high school. I wouldnt trust anyone else with the care of my eyes.

Recently my mother came to "winter in Virginia". We noticed that she was struggling with her sight and made an appointment with Dr. Mark Meadows at Eastern Eye Associates in Gloucester County VA. We were very satisfied with the kindness and professionalism from all the administrative and medical staff. Mother had to have 2 cataract surgeries and again at the follow-up appointments everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable. It was wonderful for her to return to N.H. with "new eyes" and much more confidence - - thank you EASTERN EYE ASSOCIATES!!

A great eye doctor, I have been to many eye doctors and never received the care that I have here. Dr Meadows is very thorough and explains everything to you, and if you have been there previously he explains any and all changes compared to your previous visit. The assistants working for Dr. Meadows are also very friendly and through. All the staff here are great from the office staff, Dr. Meadows assistants, Dr. M. Meadows and the staff in the eye glass area. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new eye doctor this is a great place.

I couldnt have asked for better. My daughter is mildly autistic and is difficult to manage in places like this where she is required to sit for long periods and wait. The technician that helped us was amazing and so patient and Dr Meadows was as well. I was so worried they would be irritated with how she behaved but they werent and I was amazed at how well the exam went. Everyone was helpful and kind and wore a smile, definitely happy I chose them.

Establishment is very professional and Dr Gemma Meadows took her time with me during my exam. It was very thorough and I felt like I was truly receiving care from a Doctor. I have been seeing Dr Gemma for approximately 9 years and do not consider changing my provider at all!! They also have a wonderful selection of frames and sunglasses! After changing to Eastern Eye Associates from a previous eye care Center, I cant believe it took me so long. The staff are courteous and friendly and I love Dr meadows. He has taken the time to talk with me and explain everything to me in a way for me to understand. I truly believe he cares about his patients and its not all about the money. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone.

This is my second year going there n I was very pleased. I took my 10 year old granddaughter n they took very good care of her. She needed a rx change n new glasses. Every one is pleasant n helpful and they take good care of you. Doc explained every thing to me so I would understand especially since Im diabetic. If your looking for. Great eye doctor give them a call and see for yourself.

I came in with a rather severe abrasion on my cornea. Dr. Meadows did a wonderful job diagnosing and assessing my problem, placing a lens on the damaged eye; providing almost instant relief. Thank you, Dr. Meadows I was able to enjoy the remainder of my family vacation with my children and grandchildren.

I took my 4 year old to get his eyes checked. The staff was very nice and courteous. They offered us crayons and coloring pages, even let us borrow a pair of sunglasses from the optical side. Dr Meadows explained the process for checking the eyes of small children. He had a very friendly demeanor.
