I was very surprised the negative reviews . I started going to Dr. Parsons 8yrs ago for weight loss . I had great success with my weight loss , but I recently went back in an effort to shed some unwanted pounds after turning 40. Because of my excellent experience with Dr. Parsons for weight loss , I decided to use him for gynecology and I am so happy that I did . After a recent abnormal pap , he ordered me to have some additional test , which led me to a specialist at Mercy , who decided I needed to have a hysterectomy . Dr. Parsons and his staff are professional and a pleasure to deal with . The office staff is always accommodating to my schedule and never to busy to address my concerns . I would highly recommend Dr. Parsons if you are looking for a doctor is more concerned about the quality of care ,than the quantity of patients.

This is the most unprofessional OB/Gyn. If you go to a specialist who knows how to do Laprascopic partial hysterectomy, which he readily admits he doesnt know how to do too well, he will "fire" you as a patient. Yes, you heard me right. Fire you. The worst is that he does it in such a rude and demeaning way. His excuse? He doesnt want to be liable if something goes wrong after you have gone to someone else to do a Laprascopic partial hysterectomy that you got a few years ago. Let me get this straight. If I am new to the area, and have gotten a hysterectomy done and I need a pap smear, he would not accept me as a patient because he could get sued? He said it wasnt personal, but you can obviously tell that it was. Go somewhere else where the doctor knows how to treat his/her patients.

The most wonderful OBGYN I have ever had. Very understanding and helpful Staff. He would address every concerns that I had during my two pregnancies and even after that with my regular visits. I had Kidney infection during my second pregnancy, when I went to his office he told me to go to the hospital immediately. When I got to the hospital Dr. Parsons staff had made sure that everything was ready for me, no waiting, no registering, the treatment began as soon as I got there. He was always available even after hours to answer any questions or concerns I had. I would not change my ObGyn for anything, I used to live in PA and I drove all the way to his office and I highly recommend him to any one.

he is a amazing doctor he has deliverd all my neices and nephews as well as my own son. I still make the travel to go get paps done and to drop off baby pictures. I love his staff they treat you like family they know you by name and are always making you laugh while you wait which is not long. I really love the fact that he gives out his cell number it makes it so much more personal and if you go in labor in the middle of the night you can call your doctor instead of another. I would absolutely recommend Dr.Parsons to any one looking for OB/GYN

I agree with many patients, Never a wait and hes quick but thorough and gets right to the point. Staff is wonderful, courteous and kind and never rushed out the door. He has always make time to answer any questions before and after your appointment. What a great team. Mrs. Parson has a great funny sense of humor as well. What I found impressive was, I am 53 and wanted to shed pounds. Although, I new I was blessed to be extremely healthy! Dr. Parson still made me get a stress test for safety reasons! Best doctor ever! Been seeing him for the past 8 years. 4 pregnancies and any thing we need hes there. Answers his phone Everytime we called no matter what the hour. Has never been out on a vacation. Hes the only doctor we see. You call the office and they know who you are by name and your situation.You only talk to one of 3 people. No need to look at a chart. Dr.Parson is a cautious dr and doesnt leave anything to chance when it comes to you or the health of your baby. He also has a good sense of humor. Absolutely love everyone in the office.

Dr. Parsons & his staff are very thorough and kind. I have never felt more relaxed and relieved for my least favorite visit. lol Dr. Parsons has a kind voice and listens to you. No question is too small or dumb he is going to give you an answer and understands. I hope to make him my general and overall physician as he is located nearby and convenient to get too. Huge perk he has Saturday hours! Thanks Dr. Parsons and Staff. :)

Be careful, everyone. Huge bill will be coming to your doorstep. We visited Dr.Parsons one time to check to see if my wife is pregnant. Did couple of bloodwork but he did not mention anything about doing genetics testing. Turns out patients do not have a choice. Now, we are left with $1000 bill with just one visit. Go see him if you want to. I wouldnt.

Excellent healthcare provider!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone. He takes his time with his patients. Its not a long wait to be seen and the staff is excellent.
