This is strictly the rating for telephone customer service. Whenever I call the dentist office I am greeted by someone who tone indicates they dont want to answer the phone. Then if I ask a question or goodness forbid two, the tone in the voices I get are daunting. They make me feel like I shouldnt be calling. I just got off the phone with them and I was on hold for at least ten minutes and I couldnt believe it was that long. I called and asked about the insurance carrier, because my job is switching providers, and while that question was answered I was put on hold. I stayed on hold because I needed to know if my doctor was back. When the woman finally came back to the phone her tone was "blah" but she apologized for keeping me on hold for so long. Okay, that was good but when I asked her the question about my doctor there was silence on the phone. Oh my goodness she wasnt even listening to me. She sounded deeply distracted. Really, so I had to ask again and then I had to explain that my doctor had gone out on leave and I wanted to know if he was back. Goodness I dont work there and knew he had been out. She acted as though I was speaking gibberish but finally she answered that he did return. I wanted to make an appointment but I just said okay thanks. Hate is a strong word but I hate calling the office because the attitudes are awful. The last time I called was to find out when he would return and I was dealt with in the same manner. I don’t understand it. Some type of training needs to take place. I can definitely tell they are not smiling over the phone. I stay with this office because I love my dentist, Dr. Rosenberg. That’s also why I stayed on hold for so long. He is the only reason I stay with that office. On every visit he treats me with kindness and makes me feel comfortable to be at the dentist. Ive never formerly met Dr. Jaffe but always see him smiling. Its unfortunate that they have such an awful front desk staff. It’s really awful that the only way to make an appointment is to call because I’ve tried requesting an appointment via the website but that link either doesn’t work, or the staff doesn’t respond to the requests. Also, regarding the comment about the techs rudeness, I have encountered some of their "jokes" so I understand what you mean. I did have one male tech that was nice but I haven’t seen him there in a while. Being encountered by rudeness at a time when your emotions are running high is very draining and uncomfortable. Some things shouldnt be said to or in front of patients, but you also have to curtail your conversation to each individual person. Thats another form of good customer service.

My wife and myself went for the first time to Dr. Jaffes dental office, for cleanings. We are in shock from the rude behavior of the tech named Nikki. Unbelievable to have to endure such a rude person, that pretends to be a professional. She is a mere punk compared to us, she barely was born yesterday. Yet she thought it was ok to be pushy, terse, and rude. She never introduced herself to us.( we had to ask around to get her name) Just demanding and pushy from the start. Insulting to my wife, then passing it off as if she told a good joke." Nikki please go learn what a really good joke is in the first place. You are no comedian at all!!!". Then there was the Dr. Gerald, (not sure of his name), he also was so rude to us. But his excuse is that he retired that evening that we were there. Why did the head Dentist let this man work on patients in the first place???He was obviously really angry that day that we were there. We were treated with out any consideration whats so ever, by both the tech and the doctor. Just unbelievable. Neither of them introduced themselves to us at all. Shame on this office for employing such people to work with patients. Shameful behavior. To this day the tech.named Nikki never apologized for her really rude behavior, not to me nor to my wife. I am sure we arent going back to this dental office ever again. We will avoid this place like the plague. We intend to cancel all future appointments with them. We have also put in a complaint with our insurance company.

"I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO GO TO THIS OFFICE, JUST BELEIVE ME" I took my wife to this office for tooth cleaning for the first time. and in return they gave us a very bad experience which we are not going to forget. They called my wife inside and the tech named AMy started to look at her teeths. Amy started to do bargaining with us. She said we need to pay extra $120 and have her teeth cleaned for two times. I told her to do what ever is covered by her insurance. and she said if i work that way, people here dont like me. The bargaining was long, finally I told her that I will bring her back in six months. She went inside and came back and said if you can come after six months and want to schedule appointment today, I will clean her teeth. And i said okay. Once she is done I told her that we will never ever come back. Please donot go this dentist. Doctor is horrible. He try to make the problems bigger and bigger evem if you do not have it. Please find different location ...........otherwise you will regret

I had been going to Dr. Jaffe for years. I went in for tooth pain awhille ago. On the first visit his assistant told me my tooth was on the verge of needing a root canal and hed look at the xray to decide whether or not I would need one. After 2 months and 2 appointments later, he still never looked at the tooth or my xray. All of my fillings were done by his assistant and I never even saw him. He was basically waiting until the tooth was in immense pain and he could get a root canal out of it. Jokes on him though, after waiting I decided to go to another dentist and pay them to do it. On even the check up the ACTUAL dentist came in and explained what was going on and what he needed to do. 2 days later he did my root canal. Day after hardly any pain. My advice? Get a new dentist.

I had A LOT of work done at this office through their recommendations. Afterwards, I had more problems than before. I went back to see what was wrong and the Dr. didnt even look in my mouth. I felt completely ignored. Then they wanted me to pay for the visit, when nothing was examined. But the major problem for me was when the staff was dishonest about the visit and they said it right in front of me! After that, I questioned their honesty, integrity, and motives as a dental practice. I am still having their work corrected. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone!
