I recently went for an emergency visit to the eye Doctor. My Dr. was not in so I had to see Dr. Warden. She was very nice, but did not listen to my concern of my blurred vision and the fact that I had been in the office just two months prior. Also that I have a Thyroid condition that has not been controlled for many months. I have been under my Primary Physicians care for this condition. However, Dr. Warden immediately told me my vision could change over night. I wasnt satisfied and definitely didnt think I needed glasses, which Dr. Mckrill confirmed. $385.00 later for glasses & a $40 Specialist co pay, still not satisfied. Scheduled to pick up the glasses, thinking they were just readers. Arrived at the office and the front desk person ( not the normal young lady )a middle aged lady very abruptly says "Do you have an appointment", I said the eye glass lady said she would see me today. She then says "head on over". Well, I did NOT know what Head on over meant. I sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes, two people were then waited on that came in after me. So I walked over to where the eye glass lady was sitting and said I was there to see her. She brought out the glasses and I tried them on- I told her I could not see out of them. She advised me to give it a week and if not satisfied I had 30 days to return them. I also noticed the paperwork said I had a stigmatism. Again, I find that hard to believe, since I had recently had my 2 yr. eye exam with Dr. Mcrill. So, I am not an argumentive patient, I did however repeat that I am not convinced that I need glasses and that I believe the blurred vision is from my thyroid. Which no one ever mentioned, even though it is on my health history, along with medications.My husband and I have been going to this practice for many years. The only complaints we have ever discussed to each other is that the front desk people are very rude/abrupt and that the contact lense/eye glass person is also very rude/abrupt. I will continue going to this office, only because Dr. Sussell & Dr. McRill are very good.

Bad experience in the store of Ellicott City. I asked whether they could give me the pupil distance(PD) before I select this store to make glasses. The saleswomen L told me you can get it when you pick up the glasses. When I picked up and asked the PD, saleswomen E said that saleswomen L don’t know, we don’t give the PD to customer and it is company policy. I asked saleswomen E to give me the policy. She said that I can’t give you the policy. I asked the contact information of the store manager. She said she can’t give me the contact number, but the manager can call me when she has time. Later, she reported this to the manager and I had a chance to talk with her over phone. She said she will talk with her manager and call me in three days. But almost 20 days past, I don’t get a call from her. Terrible, Terrible!!!

The people there are reasonably pleasant. The Dr. is very nice. But oh, no, not the contact lenses technician. She was extremely short, rude and impatient with my son who is getting his first pair of contact lenses. We were talked down, lectured the entire time. When I said to her that it would have helped if she could give me a call or reminder when the trial lenses arrived. She told me she is too busy to call me and that it is not her responsibility! So we are not going back there for contacts, period! Maybe for classes though, Girls there are nice.

Quick and hassle free. Yes the front desk is a bit indifferent to visitors. Dr McRill is quite good and placed a soft clear contact for me during an eye abrasion. Remember Thursday timing are 1PM-7PM

Hated this place. Didnt even stay for my exam. Receptionist extremely rude and short. Even rolled her eyes at me!
