TLC Laser Eye Center in Charlottesville was fantastic in every way I had expected. The staff is very friendly and they are all extremely knowledgeable in what exactly to expect throughout the procedure. The atmosphere is very relaxed which makes the experience much easier so that you are able to digest all of the information you are given by the staff who are very willing to do whatever it takes to make each visit fast and to the point while remaining completely happy to answer all questions. Dr. Holzman was extremely pleasant and professional on the day of surgery and provided a very relaxing and safe environment for each patient. During the procedure he continued to explain exactly what was happening at each step which definitely relieved a lot of the nervousness with the surgery. The facility and equipment is state of the art which added to my confidence and gave me comfort knowing that I had the best chance for success. And best of all the surgery itself is extremely fast, were talking an hour and a half tops from the time you walk into the waiting room and check in to the time you walk out of the door with your eyes already starting to heal. The cost is also very reasonable, at about $2000 per eye you get the surgery, any potential enhancement surgeries (if required), and all of the post-op check-ups scheduled with a local optometrist covered in that one-time payment. Ive had my one day and one week follow up appointments and have never had to pay anything since the day of surgery...and Ive now officially tested at 20/20 in both eyes which I havent been able to claim in over 20 years. Overall I highly recommend using TLC Laser Eye Centers in Charlottesville if you are in the area and considering corrective eye surgery, definitely a great investment in yourself.

I had my Lasik procedure done with Dr. Holzman in Feb 2016. Originally I did not want to go with a place where I met the surgeon day of, but Dr. Holzman is that good and he sets you at ease, talking you through the whole thing and taking a personal interest. He then texts and emails you to follow up and answer any additional questions and of course the staff is on top of your care the whole time. Id recommend TLC to anyone looking for Lasik, plus free lifetime enhancements. The bladeless surgery is the way to go. I didnt feel like my eyes were at risk at all during the procedure. Do it. You wont regret it.

I had my Lasik procedure done at Dr. Holzman Charlottesville office. Dr. Holzman was awesome. When I had a question days before surgery he called me to talk about it. As busy as I know he was, he still took out the time to calm my fears. On the day of the procedure he talked me through everything that he was doing. I was amazed how quickly I could see. Dr. Holzman called me that evening to check on me and I also received a follow up email about a week later. I am very please with my outcome of 20/20. I had lasik with Dr. Holtzman 9 days ago. Although it is early, I am incredibly happy with the results. On my one-week check up I had 20/15 vision! Dr. Holtzman and his team were all wonderful to work with. They answered all of my questions, made me feel comfortable on procedure day, and are always so friendly and helpful. I did the laser eye operation last July. And recently I didnt feel well with my eyes. I cant open my eyes sometimes in the morning, they are hurt and tearing, and I have a blurred vision when I get up. I told to the doctor, but he just said everything is good and did nothing on it. Are you kidding me?
