I have been going to Dr. Shefts for a little over 2 months now. Considering my age, I knew that any back pain I was experiencing was not okay. However, Dr. Shefts helped me to understand that even though it had become the new normal for me, it was not to be taken lightly. The back pain was so bad that any length of time standing necessitated sitting down, followed by a length of time sitting down that required that I lay down - just to alleviate my pain. Can you imagine being able to accomplish any task like that? Despite the fact that my mother went to Dr. Shefts many years ago and experienced good results, I was still hesistant to put my body in someones hands - even up until the time that I got my first adjustment. I appreciated that Dr. Shefts helped me to become more aware of my body during the examination and took the time to go over my X-rays with me so that we could identify problematic areas. With the exercises they have taught me (& I actually do them on my own... They dont just give them to you for fun) along with the adjustments, I have seen huge improvement in my body and what it allows me to do. I know that with more time and consistent effort, I will be right where I need to be. I definitely recommend Dr. Shefts to those looking for chiropractic help! Dr. Shefts office also has a personable staff and great music (often from his own collection).

My wife and I met Dr. Shefts at a home show at the Baltimore Convention Center. We were both having very different issues caused by sitting at a computer for more hours than we care to count. My upper back was almost completely locked up from stress and desk work, and my wife was getting little to no sleep. After talking to Dr. Shefts we decided to go to his office to be evaluated and see if he could help us. He took x-rays and reviewed them with us to determine what we should do to correct our problem. My biggest motivation was his promise to take 10 strokes off of my golf game simply by releasing my back and allowing me to have a relaxed swing. He delivered on his promise. I am striking the ball with a confidence I never had before and I am amazed at the results. Even better than that is my wifes ability to get a full nights sleep every night. She used to blame her pillow for not being able to get comfortable. It did not take long at all for her to realize her pillow was fine and it was her neck and back that was the problem. Dr. Shefts has a staff second to none. They are always professional and friendly and their only interest is to help you with your goals. Deirdre, Sam, and Jane keep the office moving like a well oiled machine. Thank you Dr. Shefts for changing our lives.

I met Dr. Shefts 3 years ago when I was suffering from a back injury. Many of the medical professionals put there wanted to treat my symptoms with spinal steroid injections and PTL, but no one wanted to fix the problem or truly listen to me. I met Dr. Shefts at the Towson Town festival and after a 5 minute conversation he confirmed the condition which I already knew, but impressed me the most was he told me he could fix it. After not being able to sit comfortably for over a year, I was back to sitting and functioning normally after 3 sessions. Even though I was still timid with my lower back when working out, Dr. Shefts adjustments actually improved my lower back strength while allowing me to get physically stronger in the gym and develop confidence in my back again. I still go see him periodically, not just because hes an amazing Chiropractor with an amazing team, but because hes become a friend as well. If you even think youre in need, theres no other place to go.

When I first visited Shefts Chiropractic about a year ago, I had severe back and hip pain, and I was limping. I had difficulty performing the simplist tasks, and my quality of life was suffering. In addition to accurately diagosing my condition, which several doctors totally missed, Dr. Lenny, Dr. D., and the entire staff educated me in ways to solve this medical condition, and return to my previous, active lifestyle. Within a few months, my pain eased, and my limp faded away. It was nothing short of a miracle to report that a year into my treatment, my pain is gone, the limp has vanished. An incredible side effect is as a professional singer, my vocal range has increased by 2 octaves, thanks to the professional adjustments that I receive each week. For the past 10-12 years, following several falls on the ice, I have been experiencing neck, shoulder and back pain. Physical therapy provided no relief. More recently, I have been unable to climb stairs, get out of chairs or stand for periods of time without persistent pain. I happened upon Dr. Shefts at the Timonium Home and Garden show and I am really glad that I did. After an evaluation and consultation, I began treatments at Shefts Chiropractic. I saw almost immediate relief. I am able to function in my daily life with little or no pain. What I had blamed on "old age" or arthritis was really a treatable problem. All of the staff at Shefts are friendly and genuinely interested in helping their patients achieve an improved quality of life. I highly recommend Dr. Sheft and his friendly team!

Dr Schefts changed my life. I started seeing him in Nov 2011 when I was in severe sciatic pain. I also had constant stress and tension all up and down my back and neck from life, poor diet, over working, etc. My first adjustment was such a physical and emotional release that I cried. I continued seeing him frequently until my pain was gone and now visit for adjustments only as needed (sometimes just to say hi). Its not an exaggeration that Dr Schefts (and chiropractic) changed my life for the better. I am happier, feel healthier and stronger than ever. Dr Schefts was the catalyst to many life improvements. I meet the team from Shefts Chiropractic at the Home Show at Timonium Fairgrounds last fall. To say that my hand is no longer numb, my neck is no longer tight and my posture has improved is only the beginning! My entire quality of life has improved, sleeping, digestion, sinus issues, mental outlook, weight and more. I look forward to the dedicated, caring attitude of the entire office with every appointment and recommend them to everyone I know. I can not thank Dr. Sharon enough for convincing me that I needed help and could be helped when I had given up. Dr. Shefts takes the fear and pain out of chiropractic care! He has help my entire family with chronic back pain such that we are now back to noal with only maintenance visits. This is one cool doctor who works wonders!!!! I highly recommend Dr. Shefts. 8/29/2016: Dr. Shefts continues to excel in his practice. Today he spend a super long time with my 16-year old son who got an injury on the soccer field. Not only did he do his normal adjustments, but he spent good coaching time teaching my son the correct way to stretch and prepare his body for practice and games. I love this guy!!!
