Shadow was a client/friend of Lonestar for approx. 3 years. I loved them, and so did Shadow. He got lots of attention while he was in and out of their facility over the years. He had surgery there, which went well. He healed properly and without any issues. He had his teeth cleaned there without issues. They were very hands on and so very compassionate with him and with me. When it was time to have Shadow put down, they shed tears with me and helped me get through a very difficult time. They are very loving, kind, and gentle with everyone coming through their doors. Example of their compassion: Once near his end, Shadow had to be seen by another doc. I had emailed Marsha, and she happened to be out of town, however she kept in contact with me via emails the entire time until she was back in town and shadow could be seen. They are excellent at what they do and how they do it :}

My experience with Lonestar Animal Hospital has been a five-star experience. Dr. Dixon and her staff treat the animals as if they were their own. Therefore, the animal, in my case is a Bichon Frise, gets wonderful care. We have been at least 4 times and they have given him updates on his vaccinations or drawn blood. It must be done easily, as he does not utter a sound. I would recommend Lonestar Animal Hospital to anyone with an animal. Thank you Dr. Dixon and Staff
