I am giving 1 star to this Animal clinic located in downtown Reading PA, because other factors differents than Dr. Rudes skills. 1. Dr. Rude is a good vet with patient and knowledge .He is very friendly. The negative side are: 2. The woman who seems to be his wife is RUDE she matches perfectly the last name RUDE.She is horrible and has a disgusting negative outcome towards the clients. I think due to the fact that the clinic is located in a ghetto city and low class neighborhood she thinks all people whose go there are ghetto an she needs to treat us bad. 3. As other animal clinics It is all about money .He charge you for everything and always want to sell you more than your pet need or you can afford . Go with cashCASH minimun a 100 usd.They do not accept any other method of payment. 4. Do not leave anything on your car....It is in fact a Bad hood you would get a broken window if you leave something. 5. Take a deep breath and go with patient to deal with the front desk secretary since she is a HAG.

Dr.Ruth is a very expericanced and well vet. He is very sanitized as I saw and he was treating the animals wonderfully. He seemed like a guy who does his job simply for his love of animals and not just because the money. He was great with my cats and I have no hesitant about going back at all. The only con is the location. But regarding that this is a amazing place to go for your animal

Me & my mother bring our dog Oscar here, Always a good experience. Its very inexpensive and will help your pet get better! The clinic is at a convenient location, clean and well kept always. Dr Rude is old school and professional, I definitely recommend this clinic to everyone who asks where to take their pets.

He is very good with dogs. Nice to be able to just walk in and just a few mins to be seen. Prices are very good. A lot better then petco for shots. Will come every year for dogs.
