Professional staff with a clean and non smelly office. I know animals have a natural smell, but some vets let this get out of hand. I was impressed with how the staff handled my not so happy dog to get her paws trimmed. Everyone in the office was nice, professional, and knew how to treat animals respectfully. Some previous vet techs have mishandled my pets and that is disturbing. The best part, nice and local convenience with a full service doctor. Will definitely be back and transfer my 3 other animals to this vet.

Weve been seeing Dr. Vera and the Happy Tails staff for over two years now, and I must say that we absolutely love them. We had previously seen other area vets, but none of them compare to Happy Tails. They make caring for our three dogs convenient, affordable (the wellness plans are great), and as stress-free as possible. Dr. Vera has helped us through some pretty serious health issues, and we will always be grateful to her and her wonderful clinic staff.

The best vet experience Ive ever had. They were very accommodating. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly. The veterinarian was very sweet and did very well at making my extremely anxious dog feel comfortable. She also made recommendations according to what was most cost effective for us. I even received a call the following day to find out how my dog was doing. I was very pleased and I wish I would have found this place a long time ago.

I love the family-oriented and the cozy environment at Happy Tails Pasadena location. The staff and veterinarian are super friendly and knowledgeable, they take their time answering my questions and explaining what need to be done after taking my cat home. My 8 week old poddle-mix puppy had her first visit with Dr. Calpeno at Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital this morning. The facility is cheery, clean and modern, and the staff, friendly and professional. Although Ive taken pets to other veterinarians in the area previously, the caring attention at Happy Tails is unsurpassed, and Happy Tails is my new vet home.

We are so lucky to have found Happy Tails. Dr. Vera Calpeno and staff have always taken such good care of my pup. We rescued her a little over a year ago, she has had a few issues from heart worms to cancer. Dr. Calpeno and staff treated Mackenzie and walked us through the long healing process. Great place to take our dog. Dr. Vera used alternative methods to help our beagle recover from back issues that other vets wanted to treat with expensive surgery or medications that were harmful to our dogs liver. She got us back on track and now our 11 year old is back to acting like a 7 year old. Highly recommended!!!

Extremely impressed with Dr. Vera. We heard about this place from a recommendation by our previous vet tech after a move. She took a holistic & comprehensive approach to treat our Maine Coon. She looked at many possible causes and has set follow up to review. Excellent bedside manner with our scaredy cat.

I took my senior dog to the practice. Dr. Vera and her staff treated my dog very welll.. They offer advanced technology such as laser treatment. Their desire is to be a full service neighborhood veterinary practice with close relationships wth community pets and their families. Highly recommended.

The greatest and most caring veterinarian I have ever met! Her staff is awesome! She has the best equipment available for any pet. She never turns down a pig, chicken whatever. She makes them chicken flavored popsicles to keep there mind off of where they are. Go there you wont be disappointed.

My kitty was very sick needed to get in to see the Vet. that day. They called me to let me know I could come in early because they had a cancelation. The staff was friendly even when I came in the back door they directed me through the building to the front.

I tried a lot of other vets before this one and I wouldnt ever go to another. Dr. Calepeno is very knowledgeable and has been amazing with my animals. Always makes my skittish great dane feel at ease. You can tell they truly care about your pets!
