Hello World, Dr. B has been my doctor since I was 29 years old. I was referred by a friend, and I have gone to him ever since. I am now 43 years old, and he has been a great doctor over the years. He will not tell you what to do, he gives you advice and leaves the decision up to you. He will, however, always help you even if you ignore his advice. The few times I have needed a referral to a specialist, he was always been good with who he sent me to. His office is fine I guess, I can call in meds I need and they have always phoned them in to my local pharmacy. He is not a pain doctor, so dont expect him to give your narcotics. I have had Chantix and other types of meds from him as needed. He knows I am scared of needles, and he has always been gentle with me when I need to have blood taken. No matter how old I get, I will never like to have this done. My biggest complaint is that it can be hard to get someone on the phone and it goes to voice-mail during peak call times, but all my doctors seem to be this way. I wish they had email, so I could just email in requests that I dont need to speak to someone about. David

I have been a patient of Dr. B. for years as a Medicare patient. He is an excellent Dr. and I usually only have to wait for a few minutes in his office but, if I have to, then I read materials bought with me. Regardless, he is worth waiting for. Once for an urgent situation of blood in the urine without kidney pain, dr. B. took my call off hours and ordered MRI and saw me right away after MRI done. I had a serious obstructing kidney stone requiring surgery that was performed by Dr. J. White. For sure I am not a happy camper that he is leaving his practice but I will resume seeing him should he re-established his practice. Dr. Shamim is excellent! In todays society everyone and everything is constantly rush, rush, rush. Everyone is so busy with places to go, things to do and screens to stare at, that it seems weve all become so impersonal... not Dr. Shamim! Hes very personable & takes the time to give you a thorough examination, explaining everything hes doing in detail. I definitely felt a lot more knowledgeable & more confident than when I first walked in. Ive never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room & his staff is friendly & great at what they do. If youre looking for a new doctor, look no further than Doctor Shamim & his staff... youll be happy that you did.

WONDERFUL, RESPECTFUL, AND CARING PRIMARY PHYSICIAN I found Dr. Bachowski a couple of years ago through Google maps and chose to see him because of his very high ratings. (Im not sure where those top Google ratings are now.) I showed up at my set appointment time and didnt have to wait at all to see him. During the first visit, he spent over an hour to go over my full medical history, reviewing all the papers in a thick binder folder. He wrote all of my needed prescriptions and did all the exams that I asked him. He sent a full result sheet short after my visit. I certainly recommend him, if you can get an appointment.

I have been blessed to have been going to Dr. Bachowski for years now- and can tell you I appreciate that he gives time to each person ( I have never waited more than 20 minutes to see him) and that Dr. B listens to you, and helps evaluate what the cause of an issue is. I appreciate that he is so wise and responsive to me as a patient. I always feel protected health wise, with his talents as a Physician. So if you appreciate personalized care, expertise, patience and listening to your needs by your Physician, then Dr. B is your right choice !

One of the most caring, knowledgeable doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting he is very thorough and always takes the time to listen and find the root of the problem. He is extremely kind and has always gone out of his way to accommodate my family and I when emergencies would arise. A friend from college recommended Dr. Jan when I first moved to Rockville and I have since recommended him to all of my co-workers, friends and extended family. All of my family in the area use Dr. B and they love him as well.

I was lucky enough to see Dr. Bachowski after previous physicians failed me. Dr. Bachowski was extremely thorough, explained why he was making his recommendations for treatment, and was not satisfied until he systematically ruled out every alternative explanation. His beyond-impressive medical knowledge aside, Dr. Bachowskis gregarious personality and kindness really make him even more of a diamond in the rough. I wouldnt recommend anyone else.

Doctor Bs great at making healthcare less intimidating and impersonal. Hes a storyteller and will share his opinions and make conversation. Ive had some doctors over the years who spoke to you like it was all your fault for being sick and wasting his or her precious time. (Yes they were all from other countries. So maybe its a cultural thing. A cultural thing that will have me picking a new doctor asap.)

Dr. Bachowski has the highest quality bedside manner and expertise I have ever seen which is why we patients stay loyal and confident under his care. He is quick and thorough at giving a diagnosis as well as the remedy to your ailments and is resourceful if one needs a specialist. I have been with him for many years and without reservation highly recommend him as one of the areas top doctors.

This doctor will spend time chatting with you for routine exams... youll also wait 30-60 minutes waiting to see him. Hes good with Medicare and Medicaid patients for routine care. Its up to you to monitor your need for regular exams; no reminders are sent out. If youre sick and need a doctor right away, you cant get an appointment for weeks.
