This is a wonderful practice. Dr. Reginald McManus sets a high standard of what to expect from your doctor. Some of his professional peers have told me he is one of the best diagnosticians in the DMV. Why? Because he treats his patients as partners. He listens to his patients, asks questions about their life, and uses a curiosity that is refreshing to experience. Once, I suffered with a horrible case of hives of unknown origin - all traditional treatment failed. He looked at the issue like a puzzle that he eventually solved when he found an allergist taking a non traditional approach at UVA. Immediate relief. He is a great physician and a wonderful person.

Dr C McManus, bar none the best doctor Ive ever had. Hes highly intelligent which seems to be highly rare with MDs (if you dont know the difference between a PhD and MD then youre probably baffled). At any rate, hes the first doctor Ive had any respect for. He is very patient, very thorough, and very explanatory. If he is making a guess he shares that with you and presents his evidence and welcomes questions genuinely... There is no hiding this gentlemans genuine interest and knowledge. He is a critical thinker and a practitioner... Perfect doctor.

Fantastic practice. Personable, personalized and professional. Unlike other offices Ive been to where you will spend perhaps 45 seconds with your actual doctor, Ive never had an appointment where Dr. McManus spent less than 10 minutes of time with me. He clearly explains every detail of treatment with me, often citing the latest research and most recent studies as he talks through things. I never feel like Im being rushed and I always fully understand my options before leaving the office. One of the best practices Ive ever been to.

Just got off the phone. and was told "were not taking any new patients." They did tell me where the local urgent care was, but my wife and I were looking for a new primary doctor; and they were the closest to our home based on our insurance provider. Oh well!
