I will never use this vet again!!! After my cat had surgery in november, (which was thank god at a different clinic or my cat might have not survived) he needs regular check ups. I had to drop him off for the majority of the day. When I called 6 hours later because nobody got in contact with me they said he was ready to go but I cant pick him up yet because "they just went on lunch break and I have to wait for another hour". My cat is terrified of staying at a vet since his surgery and I didnt want to leave him there any longer than necessary. When I got there they were unable to clasp his harness. They refused to let me see him before I purchased a carrier even though I told them he always responds to me when he is scared. We had to go to other vets over 20 times in the past 6 years because he has health problems and EVERY SINGLE TIME when the vet couldnt handle him because he was scared theyd call me to come and hold him. After insisting that I couldnt see my cat I went to get a carrier. I heard him scream in the back when they put him in. They insisted that I should not take him out of the carrier for 2 hours after I got home in 95 degree weather. He was hungry and thirsty. Of course I didnt do such a thing and the second I was in the car with him I took him out. He was shaking and immediately curled up on my lap terrified. Thats when I noticed that several of his claws were broken off and one of them was bleeding. They shoved him in the carrier with all their might, after not wanting to give him to me on the leash. Needless to say I was shaking and furious. When we called to complain we were hung up on. I went there to get things sorted out and Dr. Rose was very rude and blamed it on the cat. I am sorry but you are supposed to be trained for that. Cats can react out of fear and you as a vet need to be able to deal with that and not give him back to me injured and with a bill for $300. Which was twice the amount I was quoted. And for future reference please dont call me ”honey” when I am trying to explain to you how utterly ridiculous it is that I am taking my cat to a vet and getting him back injured and in pain!!! They also never told me he was hurt by them. They are rude, talk down to you and refuse to hand over your animal.

This place is the WORST vet on earth. I would chose this place only if you are looking for the following: Having your pet physically scarred Having your pet "traumatized" Seeing your Pet in incredible pain Having your Pet lose the ability to walk Having the medical staff go directly against your wishes Being treated like your pet is a burden The manager stands by her position that she is "not medical staff" and has no accountability for any malpractice. The response to any concern is to hang up on you when you call. If this is how the leadership in the building treats its patients and customers no wonder the staff is so unpleasant. If you are thinking about trying this place for your pets, please consider giving them up for adoption first. That may be a safer route for the puppy.

THESE GUYS ARE BUTCHERS! do they just hate animals?! Brought our cat in for a routine check up, they then would not give us our cat back with out a carrier even though we didnt bring one with us as he never needs one. We had to go get a carrier then they said not to let him out for 2 hours because he was mad. We thought this odd and immediately opened the carrier and found his back claws broken and bleeding! They kept giving us the run around and wouldnt talk to us or hung up on us!! When they finally let us speak to the doc, "doctor" Rose was insulting rude and spoke down to us- even going so far as to say it was our cats fault! They also overcharged our card by almost double!! DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU HATE YOUR PET!!!!

The damn vet was soooooo excited to tell me about the 3 wonderful health plans they had - she completely forgot the basics - like an examination and taking his temperature??? They said he had a bladder infection and diabetes - but refused him insulin. Then they left us in a room for 45 minutes alone and ignored. I got up and left. Theyre only interested in selling their health plans and guess what Tuffts Animal Hospital said? No bladder infection. Banfield is a rip off and IK wouldnt trust taking my dog there ever again. Avoid this place. Theyre rip offs.

I only gave them 1 star because 0 stars wasnt an option. They mistreated my dog , gave him the "party hat" aka a muzzle that I specifically asked them not to do. My dog was brought there with a cough and they said they werent equipt to handle it. They told me his oxygen level was low and almost died but when I called they referred to me as being dramatic. The only phone call I received about his update was to upgrade my plan. I would bring my dog to be treated by Helen Keller before I ever went back there. Iif you care about your dog dont bring him there.

I have been going to the Banfield Vet since we found a little kitten in our back woods and I wanted to check her out before bringing her home to my other cats. The staff was kind and proffesional. I have used them for my three cats ever since. They are responsive to emergencies as well as caring in normal visits. We always receive a follow up call the next day. Dr Fleissas and the entire staff were so kind when our oldest cat (18yr) was terminally ill. These people genuinely like and care about animals

I have brought my new boxer lab to Banfield several times now. I have met both Veterinarians and both are wonderful. I am surprised at the reviews below. Both Doctors and staff have been nothing but professional and very kind. They have been wonderful with my rescue dog who is VERY nervous. Dr. Rose has seen her the last two times. She was WONDERFUL with my dog and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Banfield Pet Hospital.

Dr Rose needs to have her Veterinary license taken away immediately! She is close to abusive when handling your pet and is 100% the rudest person I have ever payed to tell me what I already know in the most condescending tone she could muster. This was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had as a pet owner. PLEASE if you care about your pet at all avoid this place at all costs.

Doctors and staff are wonderful. I have gotten amazing care for my 2 dogs and 2 cats. Everyone always ready to help out even over the phone. Lucky to have found them!
