I came to this emergency clinic with a completely unconscious pet who was seizing. We called ahead of time to let them know we were coming in. This was middle of the afternoon and we ran in to find no one in the waiting room or at the desk. We knocked on the back double doors only for someone to respond well be out in a minute. about 10 minutes later someone came out with paper work for us to fill out...my pet still unconscious, unresponsive, with worsening vital signs and seizing. We filled the paperwork out frantically, they then sauntered in to take vitals. The vet came in about 30 minutes later and proceeded to lift up my unconscious pets head and say "oh arent you pretty" and turn to me and say "oh you must just love him, hes so precious"....my pet was still unconscious. They then needed to get the quote etc etc etc. During one of the wait times (keep in mind there was one other patient in the clinic at this time) we heard them discussing events of their upcoming week and giggling while eating lunch...while my pet still had not even been treated yet. It was two hours before we got any form of treatment, all the while my pet was seizing. They were very cavalier about my pets clinical status and had absolutely no sense of urgency despite being an emergency clinic. I will not be coming here ever again.

my dog got quilled. it was not a large numbered quilling. small. on the nose and miscellaneously sparse around the face and paws. since the quills get in places that can be hard to find for the layman, we decided to go to the vet "emergency room". to be clear, i am grateful for what was taken out and everyone was very nice. however, after paying the bill of over $400, it has been over a week and we are still pulling quills out of our dog. i just found 2 more quills, in addition to the 3 my wife found, by just petting her in obvious places and not searching. this was not a pleasant experience. i understand these things cost money and you need to be paid. for the amount i paid, there should not have been any quills left. i have seen pictures of terrible quilling. our dog was far from those. very far. yet it is my opinion that for over $400, the easily located spots and seeing a professional should have left nothing whatsoever. i also think you should have a policy that if any are found post-procedure, people should be allowed to bring their animals back to finish the job of any quills missed. you were going to charge me another $400+ to get the remaining out. i am not angry or vengeful. this is just a matter of business and service. thank you.

Had to make an emergency visit to a vet this weekend when I found my poor three year old bunny wheezing quite heavily... because it was the weekend I knew I would have to pay extra to get him checked out and even though we did not have to money to spare I knew I had to try to save him. When I googled local 24 hour vets I found this place... I knew it would be a long shot as not all that many vets take rabbits however they were more than happy to help me. I rushed him right over, our waiting was very minimal. They were very nice and helpful... checking him out promptly! When the vet found the problem (pneumonia) she was very hopeful that we caught it in time... they immediately came in with the solution, giving me the cheaper option, they told me up front what the cost would be knowing I was limited on funds... the price was a lot less than any other emergency vet I have ever dealt with and best of all they saved my bunnies life! He is doing so much better and I have them to thank for that!! I will ALWAYS go to them for help! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

We found ourselves in Tamworth, out of our home area and needing veterinary care on a Saturday morning - in the middle of a holiday weekend! We located this hospital by Google searching and are very pleased with the service and care we received. Although not an emergency but something that definitely needed to be addressed before it came to that - we are taken very good care of and the exam, diagnosis, and testing was very thorough. I was able to chat through our pets history which was acknowledged and taken into consideration in the testing. The price was very reasonable and only slightly over what I would have paid for a practice visit. I also did receive a follow up email checking on her condition which is always appreciated. Hopefully I dont have to go again, for obvious reasons :) but would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an emergency hospital in the area!

The people are nice enough and genuinely care but expertise and competency are by far more important. Dont go near the place with any whelping emergencies. My girl was put through an uncalled for dreadfully traumatic experience and we lost three puppies even though I had given my consent to open her up and do a caesarian section. Instead the vet put my girl through screaming biting pain to get a walrus puppy out and then two shots of oxytocin even though I had told her my reproductive veterinarian does not like oxytocin being used because it puts puppies into distress and causes severe uterine contractions. I will drive the extra 70 minutes to Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital from now on unless it is a life/death situation.

I brought my dog in for diagnostics since she seemed to be in pain. After being looked at and x-rayed, we were told she had cancer of the spleen and we had 2 choices, surgery or euthanasia. Thats it, only those 2 choices. We made our own choice and took her home with the given pain meds. She improved after a few days. What I am most frustrated by was the lack of choices. She may not have a year, but she is enjoying a few more weeks of happy, playful dog-life!

As usual puppies arrive in the wee hours of the morning. This particular Momma took her sweet time delivering all 4 babies. Although not normal for the Momma to go more than an hour between pups this Momma waited up to 3 hours . The Tech Michelle and the Doctor on staff that night were terrific. HONEST and forthcoming. So I thank them for their time and advice over the phone and as you can see, it all worked out fine. Thanks again for being a phone call away.

MVER was there for my family at an extremely difficult time. They showed compassion and understanding during this time. All of the staff were so friendly and answered any question that I had, as difficult as some of them were for me to ask. I would reccomend MVER to everyone that was in need of an excellent place to bring their fur family! Thank you all for your love of animals and treating us all with warmth and respect!

We brought our old man Chester (our basset) here today because it was time. The vet tech and vet were phenomenal. They were very professional and compassionate. They did not make us wait, spoke to us and acknowledged Chester was there. He was our fur kid. If anyone was going to help Chester move forward onto his journey we are glad it was this vet that helped him do it.
