We have been with dr. Calloway for seven years and will never bring another animal there again .So this is been my experience with AvC we have been with dr. Calloway since the beginning of her journey and she only had a few patients my bulldogs stewart was one of her first patients and she was amazing did everything in her power to help with his breathing problems and any other problems that we had. Stewart is a English bulldog in for anybody that has them they have a lot of problems so we were in there a lot but she always work with us financially in because of that we continue to go to her for the last 7 years we just recently put our dog down there and now we have a new dog that had got attacked by a porcupine and I brought her there to have the quills taken out and we also had to pay to have her go under because of the severity of it a week ago and was told by the doctors that a couple had broken off in her face and if I found them to just bring her back and they would take them out for no charge I just found one in her jaw line and it is extremely swollen and infected so I called to bring her in to have them removed it and when I did I was told that yeah they would remove it but they would have to charge me another 3 to $400 to put her under when I just , spent the original $400 to have them removed its not my fault that the doctor broke the quill off and her face and thats why I was told if I found one to bring her there now that I have found when theyre telling me a complete different story would not recommend going there now that Callaway is bigger and has lots of patience she no longer feels the need to work with the patients that have been with her from the beginning like I said that we have been bringing our dogs there for the last 7 years and we slowly notice a change in behavior when it comes to the money I know everybodys got a business to run and I understand that but when somebody already paid to have something done they should not be charged twice for the same procedure that they already paid for it greed is definitely gettin to this company and it is truly sad

I learned of AVC Vet in Concord in 12/14. My sister had heard good things about them from a friend. I was sure my dog Scooby had a blockage and was not going to wait until my own vet opened on Monday. I was scared as my only income is disability. I do thankfully have care credit for these such events. I went online to look into them. I liked that they had their price chart right on their website. It helped me plan for a worse case scenario. I called the right away. They said they are open 24/7 and to just come right on in. Check in was fast and friendly. Using all the latest technology for you to electronically sign in . The waiting room is furnished comfortably. With tasteful pet paintings hung throughout. We were called right in and went over history as Scooby was examined. We then made a care plan. And I had agreed to a certain amount for diagnosing. They were so kind and patient to Scooby. He was a rescue we had gotten not long before and he was still pretty scary around strangers at the time. But they took great care of him. Thankfully it was not a blockage. They did not try to sell me any more than I needed In fact my bill came in a couple hundred below what I had agreed to pay for diagnosing. I recommend them all of the time now. I prefer to use my hometown vet. But comforting to know that if a emergency is to arise that I can head right there to them night or day.

We recently brought our dog to AvC Concord branch where they treated him for Kidney failure. Trying to explain my dogs symstoms I felt as they werent understanding the servereity of what was happening, they sent us home with a medication (that they called a Overload dose for 4 days which is 6-500mg pills then to go down to 2 a day) after a $500 bill they wanted at the time. No payment options available. I have been going back and forth with the Dr & Techs at the Manchester branch about the medication hes on isnt working hes having more seizures more frequently since he started the medication. They suggested continuing the meds that arent working and then coming back in for another checkup, different meds and the same tests he had just taken! Then a bigger bill to pay for. They want to hype the poor dog up with meds that arent working, so they will continue to make money. I have recorded my poor dogs seizures and sent them via email, since I was told that "they shouldnt be as severe as I claimed" Who says that to a pet owner?!? They have No sympathy for anyone!

The folks here at AVC Concord are fantastic... this past holiday weekend, we were up to our family camp, about 100 miles from home, we live here in Concord, when we awoke to our four year old black lab Milo having a medical problem. On a Sunday of a holiday weekend.... with no local to us vets open, I drove up the street to make some phone calls... AVC was open, and eager to help me on the phone.. Milo and I made the trip back down to concord, giving the team at AVC a heads up we were in route... we were welcomed to a very nice facility and the most friendly staff... seeing how milo dose not like vets. He seemed comfortable here, with loving care. He was seen promptly, tests run, and sent home to continue the weekend. The staff called Wednesday to discuss the test results with us.. and were AWESOME about the entire visit.. they also were very affordable, we will be using them for our future vet needs.. Thank you folks again, you folks saved the day!!

They are not board certified if you love your pet do " not" go there you might be lucky and your pet will come out alive. I was not same owner as Manchester Avc.after my healthy dog died from them removing a tooth. "Not from anesthesia" My dog in a plastic bag in a box in front of me.The dr. Said next time you should seek a board certified Dr. They dont have to tell you this first. I wanted one certain Dr. to take care of him everone assured me she was there and would. That didnt happen a different dr did it. I have been e mailing other drs. about how my dog died and it was preventable if done right. Other drs Have never had a problem like this in all there years... My dog has been by my side for 12 years Avc could care less I received a letter of explanation / apology. No offer of replacement or to pay for his cremation.RIP my sweet little angel .. I am sorry I trusted them with your life.

My dog Stolie had an emergency splenectomy on January 24, 2015. She is a 13 year old, border collie/Akita mix. I cant say enough about AVC and the care and compassion they gave to Stolie and to us as worried parents. If it wasnt for the expertise at AVC Stolie would not be with us today. We are going on 24 weeks out of surgery! I highly recommend this practice, they truly care about the animals that come in. We saw this with other pets and their families when we were there. The prices are also very fair and reasonable. Like my friend said to me when I described the care AVC gave Stolie, that is one class act, they really are! Thank you to everyone at AVC.
