I just wanted to share my experience for anyone who is in a similar situation that I was in. My dental insurance is Delta Dental PPO, and I had a lot of trouble finding a good dentist that was covered. Ive had some really horrible dental experiences so I was very weary about trying someone new once I found a great dentist. The one that Ive been with for the past few years was great, but he wasnt covered by PPO so the dental work I needed was really starting to add up. I had to find a new dentist and was really worried about trusting someone new. I heard from word of mouth that Dr. Meola was good, so I made an appointment. Ive only had one visit, but so far Im SO impressed! Anyone whos answered my calls has been helpful, friendly and professional. I visited the Brighton office and felt comfortable right away. The woman at the front desk was friendly and they were ready to take me right on time. I had some pretty detailed paperwork to fill out when I arrived; it wasnt painstaking and didnt take too long, but it is clear that theyre interested in your safety with the detailed questions regarding your medical history. The office is clean and looks nice. The dentist himself as well as his assistant were awesome. His assistant was friendly and my X-rays were quick and painless. Dr. Meola really put me at ease. He thoroughly looked at my X-rays and asked me many questions to be sure that he was aware of all my concerns. He also seems conservative; he understands my position as a college student and is offering me the care I need without going over the top and recommending that I get work that I dont need. I feel comfortable with him as my new dentist and Im so relieved to have finally found someone good and affordable! He also offered to let me go on a payment plan for my crown, which is a more expensive procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Meola!

The administrative side of this office is incompetent. Ive been with this practice for about 3 years now and on MULTIPLE (I cant even count at this point- I wish this was an exaggeration) occasions Ive been asked to reschedule my appointment. Whats the point in making an appointment if its going to be rescheduled at such a high frequency? Additionally, one good thing about this office is that they are fairly flexible about setting up payment plans to pay off the more serious/expensive dental work that they do. They did not follow the agreed upon terms and conditions of my payment plan (IE when they would take out the MONTHLY payments) and ended up taking out two payments in one month. While its a great offering dont trust that the administrator will follow the schedule agreement- might as well just throw the charge on your credit card and pay in full. Id like to also add that the client service and bedside manner of both doctors and their assistants (Ive met with both of them) are a bit stale. Id like to think they arent trying to have lengthy conversations with the client in order to get people in and out quicker, which I appreciate, but light conversation would be helpful given that some clients are nervous when they come in for certain procedures. I was really hopeful that this practice could shape up but they just arent cutting it anymore. Will be switching ASAP.

My husband and I have both seen Dr. Arandia and we were VERY SATISFIED. Great dental experience. In summary: 1) The wait time was short. 2) Dr. Arandia was very friendly, had a good sense of humor and communicated well. 3) The office was very clean and newly renovated. Ive had awful experiences with dentists.. they were happy to over charge me but didnt provide the time and care I paid for. Dr. Arandia took the time to explain what he was going to do before doing it, he made sure I wasnt in pain and afterwards made sure I knew how to take care of my teeth after the procedure. Dental appointments can be scary, especially when you dont really understand whats going on or why they are using extremely sharp tools. Dr. Arandia went beyond the call of duty to show that he really cares. I have recommended him to several family members and friends, and they have been equally satisfied. **Helpful Hint: The front of the building reads "A|M Dental Group" in big black letters. We had some difficulty finding the office at first, since we were searching for a sign that said "Arandia & Meola." Whitney W. Woodstock, CT

The reception girl Hope told me Dr Meola would be there on Mondays and Wednesdays, I asked Hope to make an appointment with Dr Meola for me, and I told her I was going to pull out my wisdom tooth. And I went to them on Monday morning, they just told me Dr Meola would not come today!!! And only Dr Meola could pull out tooth!!! Hope gave me a card and let me go another dental far away to see Dr Meola!!! Why didnt the reception girl Hope tell me before I went there? Why the wrong information? Waste my time and solve no problem!

Dr Meola: 7 appointments over 6 months to get a root canal and a crown for one tooth. Rushed attitude, jokes that made me nervous. (Yes, I am a tad sensitive when in a dental chair.) On the 7th appointment, I was only supposed to get my crown finished. I was offered a "regular cleaning" too, and I was assured (I asked twice) it was covered by my insurance. It was not. Well, after I "co-paid" 1500 for the crown, another 100+ is nothing. But it is the last straw. Two stars for getting the job, eventually, done.

Ive gone to Dr. Meola twice for routine dental care. His service was prompt, but not rushed. I felt like he really cared about getting to know me and wanted to ensure that I got the best dental care. I appreciate that he is sometimes available in the evening and on Saturdays to make for a flexible schedule. He also works well with students!

Came in for a check up, couldnt be happier. The staff is friendly, office is clean and modern. I like that Dr Arandia spent a lot of time with me and didnt seem rushed at all.
