I went to her for like 10 years or so. I never felt one ounce of true care. Wait time was ridiculous! The waiting room was always full and people complaining it was 45 min past their appointment. It has happened to me also. People would walk out. She over books and to me thats money hungry. Dr Ghaffar has gave me attitude at times and just could be so unprofessional, or maybe she was judging me because I was more of a edgy girl. Now she is holding my records and will not give them up. I do not have income and I have no money to give her to get my records! I am not sure what to do but I think it is very wrong. I found out they destroyed all my records illegally from my whole life. I filed a complaint with the MA board of registration and health. Dr Ghaffars office argued repeatedly about the law and gave me a hard time. YOU CAN NOT DESTROY RECORDS! They have to wait 7 years from the last encounter. It has been 3. They destroyed them in 07 when I was still a patient there! I cant believe they would think thats ok, like they would never have to go back into my records even from the year before! Unbelievable. I am sure I am not the only one, so WOULD NOT recommend this doctor or her husband.

I am not a patient of hers, but my mom is. My mom has been seeing Dr. Ghaffar for not that long but in the times where she has gone to see her for medical care, this doctor has not helped her once. Every appointment my mom has with her, she leaves the office with more and more medication that isnt needed. She also had the nerve to tell my mom that she fat and that is why she has multiple health issues (mind you my mom struggles with weight but she is not fat) and Dr. Ghaffar doesnt stop to think that there are health issues that LEAD to issues with weight and certain problems make it harder for patients to manage their weight. Also today, my mom had an appointment with her and Dr. Ghaffar turned her away and said she had to go to LGH ER for a nervous breakdown because "she is not suited to deal with it". In my opinion, if she is not able to deal with patients who have anxiety and depression and have nervous breakdowns at some point then she is not "suited" to be a doctor at all. I am only a nursing student but I have never seen a doctor treat a patient like this, and the office better believe I will be making a call and have this exact conversation with Dr. Ghaffar myself.

Shes a ok Dr but Id definitely have to say shes not good with people or at least not with me, she came into the exam rm I was in, started talking to me then then asked, "wait, are you Amy?" Then even though I said yes she rudely left and accused the assistant for not giving her the right patient. It was very upsetting to me. Their hrs are also horrible and honestly I prefer her assistant over her. nasim will diagnose you but not really explain it even if you ask. She said I had high cholesterol and that I had to change my eating style but wouldnt even say what kind of diet but suggested a nutritionist...yeah shouldnt have to do that. And she doesnt really read the forms you fill out onthe first day so if something is wrong make sure you remind her of your family history because she dont read that stuff, Thats what i had to do.They will also not tell you the stuff theyre guna do to you on the first appointment. I was very pissed to have a surprise papsmear, pee test blood work, etc. Wow after saying all this idk why I still see her.

I have been seeing Dr. Ghaffar for many years and would go to no one else! She is very thorough in her care. She is very compassionate towards her patients. I would trust her with my life, and in a way I do dont I? I cannot say enough about her. Her staff is great and very helpful as well. In the past I have even decided on an insurance plan that allowed me to stay with Dr. Ghaffar instead of another plan. That says a lot. I feel blessed to be one of her patients.
