Ive been going here since I was a baby because Dr. Denise Arcands father (Dr. Alfred Arcand) was my grandfathers cousin. I had ZERO problems until she took over and he retired! When I was in the hospital after having my son, Dr. Denise made one AWKWARD visit. Barely said anything, and then bounced. The only reason Ive dealt with them being my sons primary care for the last three years is because the other tending Nurse Practitioners are fantastic. I love Robin, and the other man whos seen my son (only twice and I cant remember his name). My Biggest complaint? They dont open until 9- then they take a lunch from 12:00-1:30 but they dont ANSWER THE PHONE from 11:30-1:30! A two hour lunch break?! thats BULLSHIT. Theres 3 secretaries! Why cant they alternate their lunch and answer the phone?! If you try to call between 9am and 11:30- good luck. The phones WILL be busy. If you get through after 1:30 you will more than likely be told there are no openings this late in the day. Well thanks, Ive been TRYING to get in touch all day! This happened once after my infant son ran a 104 fever on a sunday and spent the night in the hospital. I was told to follow up with my pediatrician in the morning. When I finally got in touch with them around 2pm, they told me there were no openings - and then had the nerve to tell me to relax!! Relax?! My infant was hospitalized and stuck with a needle several times because of his 104 fever and Ive had no sleep because Ive been trying to get in touch with you all day and you want me to relax?! The women in the office that you speak to are entirely RUDE. One of them NEVER looks up from the computer to actually look at you! The woman on the "Answering service" is the worst of them all. So please, let me know when youre office starts running a little smoother. I would love for my son to continue to see Robin, but ill gladly tell the rest of your staff where to go on my next visit. Oh wait- there wont be one. You just lost a patient of 27 years. PHENOMENAL job.

One problem being they open at 9 am, thats to late, what about people who work early? take a whole day out for a 10 minute visit? Iv been a patient there for 5 years i called today to see if i could get a quick appoiment with Richard Haire, i explained my situation of a rash from a bee sting(the severity of my bee sting is no ones business, i can assure you it was very clear i had to see a doctor that day), the rude/ miserable receptionist explained to me that they were short a physician, and they could not “squeeze me in" today. So now im being penalized because I couldn’t contact the office at 7 am before work to see if I could be "squeezed in" as the receptionist put it, after being a patient for 5 years, rudeness, a doctor taking a day off and being turned away for such a fast miniscule appioment is not what i expected from Arcand Family Med. Is thats what anyone wants for themselves or even their children? Im Very dissapointed, will not be returing to this office.

They do open later, but that is because the Dr does rounds at the hospital before their general practice opens. We met Dr Arcand from her being assigned to us as a pediatrician by the hospital after our baby was born. Dr Arcand took the time to come in specifically to see us for 4 days in a row over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend to make sure that our baby was ok and was getting everything she needed. Dr Arcand was friendly, helpful and never made us feel like our questions were stupid. I would recommend her to anyone!
