Dr. Kathryn Moore has set a new gold standard in Lowell for animal care. I have had two labradors that required extensive medical care at Angel Memorial in Boston. Dr. Moores thoroughness and competence is quite evident and is commensurate with the sophistication and quality provided by the doctors at Angel. The staff at Belvedere are uniformly pleasant and efficient. I recently brought my 6 year old Maine coon cat to Belvedere for an annual checkup. A dental cleaning was recommended which required blood work. I was surprised to receive a call from Dr. Moore with an in depth explanation of potential health concerns. After, the dental cleaning, I received 2 phone calls, first one from the staff informing me that the procedure went fine and second, a call from Dr. Moore with detailed information concerning potential heart issues. Upon picking up my cat, Dr. Moore met with me and thoroughly explained her concerns and recommendations for monitoring the heart issues going forward. I also received a detailed printout with color pictures of before and after dental treatment and information concerning the heart issues. I then scanned the printout information and pictures and emailed them to my dentist of 40 years and gently suggested that he might consider providing patients with a comparable level of information.

I brought my 2 year old cat and her 4 kittens to the Belvidere Animal Hospital to get an exam and make sure everything was ok with her. They said she was fine and healthy..a little underweight charged us $110.00, and asked us to bring a stool sample in just to make sure she didnt have worms..which cost another $30.00. Two weeks later we noticed our cat walking funny so we brought her back in. $400.00 x-rays and bloodwork later, they said she had a kidney infection and possible cat diabetes. She was put on an antibiotic for another 2 weeks and when she began getting worse I called them and asked what we should do, the extremely unfriendly receptionist gave me an attitude say "well she obviously needs to be seen again". After that we decided to go to Wignall Animal Hospital in dracut..they were very straight forward with us and gave us 2 options as to what is wrong with her..after not seeing results in 2 days they told us that it was a Neurological problem..which is what they thought to being with and 3 days after bringing her to Wignall we had to put her down because she could not function anymore. Cost doesnt matter and im all for a small buisness, but the fact that my cat suffered because this vet wanted to squeeze out as much money as he could sickens me.

Dr. Moore has been fantastic. I am new to the Lowell area and finding a decent vet, much less as a decent pizza, is challenging. There is not much at stake when a pizza is bad, unlike dealing with an indifferent vet. Ones whole life is upended when you have a sick pet that isnt getting the care it needs and deserves. Dr. Moore went out of her way to help me conquer an allergy/immune issue that plagues my chi mix. After years of the affliction being dormant, it came back with a vengeance and resisted the treatment that had worked before. Dr. Moore didnt give up and hes been symptom free for six months or so.

I adopted a kitten 2 months ago and searched online for a nearby vet with great customer reviews. Belvidere Veterinary Hospital in Lowell has surpassed my expectations. They are not only wonderful with my rambunctious kitten but they are extremely accommodating, knowledgable and responsive. Their office is clean and organized and their staff are professional and friendly. It is clear that the folks who work at Belvidere love what they do and I cant recommend them highly enough!

Dr. Moore at Belvidere Animal Hospital helped us through the complex and difficult task of having a diabetic cat. Her compassion and knowledge helped us feel confident that we could tackle this health issue with our pet. Her expertise on the subject of feline diabetes was extensive and our cat is now in remission. We cant thank her enough for her dedication to her profession.

Dr. Williams is the best. Everyone I know who takes their pets to him loves the way he treats them. Please ignore n that old review from someone in Tacoma, WA. I doubt he traveled 2800 miles to Lowell, MA to take his pet to the vet. There must be a similarly named practice in Tacoma,

I have taken my cat to a few other vets in the Lowell area, but I am very much satisfied with the service that I and my cat have received here over the last three years. Dr. Williams who is very kind and generous cares about your pet.

The staff is great! Very caring for my two dogs. Dr. Morse calls to check on my dog to make sure she is doing ok with medication. I have never had a vet which actually called to check on my animals. Love these guys!
