I would NEVER bring my dog back! I took my dog there for a dental cleaning last year, and some extraction had to be done since he was old and his upper P4 (the biggest tooth in the upper jaw) was loose. Joan seemed pretty knowledgeable and trustworthy so I didnt even check the results till I got home. Thats when I realized the root of the tooth was hanging out and was not extracted! I was furious and brought my dog back to her. she claimed that the root belong to P3, which is a smaller tooth in front of the big one, and that the tooth had somehow broke within the span of a day. That was complete bullshit!! Since I know that tooth (P3) was already extracted years ago!!!! I didnt take a picture of my dogs teeth before the procedure, and was thinking about getting dental records from the previous vet. Then.. I realize she probably has Parkinsons ! So I didnt even brother arguing with her!! Its horrible to have Parkinsons, and I am sure she was once an excellent vet, but for the sake of the animals she shouldnt be practicing! Even if I am wrong about her Parkinsons (maybe she had too much coffee?), she should not have lied to me! and by the way.. she seems to be more of a cat person than dog.

1 STAR IS TOO MUCH. Do not bring your pet to this vet office. Ill be very straight forward - the doctor is old and does not have the best eyesight and the office does not have a light, only a window for natural light to come in, the nurse/front desk is not skilled with communicating effectively and they will double charge you to re-visit if they make an error during the first visit. Very poor customer service if anything goes wrong. I paid $80 to bring my parakeet in for an office visit and nail trimming which was fine but when I got home and realized the doctor had only trimmed one of my birds feet I made an appointment to go back for the other foot .. once I was done with the second visit she charged me $35 for a service that I had already paid for and the error was clearly on her part! When I mentioned I spoke with the front desk and told her my concern so I dont agree with the price she literally told me " It is what is, pay for the visit and you better not come back here for anything else". JUST WOW. If you choose to bring your pet here just pray they do it right the first time because you WILL get the short end of the stick if the DR makes an mistakes on your pet.

I called the office manager, Jim, for a referral to a good place to foster a dog. I had to put my 12 y.o. dog down this past August at the Boston Angel Memorial Hospital. Unluckily, the day I needed the vet for emergency treatment, was the day of the week their office is closed. The Dr. had only met my dog for a physical once, about 6 months before I had to put him down. I was still not ready to adopt a new dog, that is why I thought fostering would be a good start at having a dog around the house and not have to get too attached. Jim, from Compassionate Care, suggested I call The Milton Animal League. He did not prepare for the fact that this facility is run by the Milton Animal Police. The situation I got involved with turned out to be a very nasty and negative one. The Dr. promised to intercede on my behalf, and backed down to the Milton Animal Police Officer. Jim outright lied and said that he NEVER referred me to this agency. When I tried to get in touch with the Dr., Jim informed me to never call their office again. I am sorely disappointed in Compassionate Carls handling of a situation that they got me involved with.

Dr. Diebold is wonderful. She is the rabbit expert in the South Shore area. She has provided excellent veterinary service for my rabbits over the past years. She has extraordinary expertise in the field. Any time I have had a question or concern about our pets, we can call her office and she will get back to us in a matter of minutes. I have never seen a veterinarian more dedicated to their work than Dr. Diebold. In addition, the staff at Compassionate Care has always been friendly and helpful - from the first phone call I made to my most recent visit, I have always been impressed with this teams knowledge and inherent love for animals. It is a comfort to have Dr. Diebold as our veterinarian. She will do anything she can to ensure your pets are healthy and happy. She surpasses all expectations of veterinary care. I always recommend her to anyone who is seeking quality, personal veterinary care for their pets.

This is the most amazing place. I am very protective with all my babies. Yes, I said all. I am a foster Mom and have adopted some. My dogs get individual and wonderful care. I am amazed by the Dr. She is so sensitive to their needs and goes the extra mile to diagnose any hidden problems. She has NEVER been wrong. I also love the staff. They are all caring and sensitive to me. I love Jim. He is always there for me to talk to and stays with me when a procedure is going on and I am nervous. If you are looking for a family orientated place that gives really good and loving care to your animal, go there. Take one look at the equipment and the cleanliness of the office and you know the care must be good. I come from the Cape.

Dr Diebold is a fantastic vet. Despite other vets that are located much closer to us, we continue to bring our rabbit to Dr Diebold because of the high standard of care she provides as well as the seriousness with which she treats any issues our pets has. She has stayed late to accommodate us when we come home from work to find our rabbit ill, and she even made a special trip into the office just to meet us on the Sunday of a holiday weekend when i called her cell phone to report a serious symptom our rabbit was showing. We are very grateful that our rabbit is under Dr Diebolds care adn I strongly recommend her to other pet owners.

Dr. Diebold is brilliant! The best. Diagnoses are ALWAYS spot on. No unnecessary vaccines or treatments. Straight forward manner, incredibly knowledgeable. I bring my two cats, Brother and Sister, black n whites, MY BABIES to Compassionate Care and my Malamute, Nanook, too. Fairly priced and you always see Dr. D., the Vet. Place is spotless clean. And... this matters to me, she went to Brown AND Penn, both Ivyies! The only way Im getting in there is if Im the Custodian! Brilliant!

I have several cats who are always getting into trouble of one kind or another. On more than one occasion, Dr Diebold has met me at her office after hours to run tests or deal with a feline emergency. When the situation warranted, she even made house calls! She is attentive, intuitive and a skilled diagnostician. She also manages to remember the names and medical histories of each of my 9 cats. I cant even do that.
