MVAH has been caring for my dog for the last 7 months. Initially my first visit was simply out of convenience, as my dog suffered a toe injury late in the afternoon and my dogs vet had already closed for the day. MVAH was still open and less than 5 minutes away from my home, so I decided to call. To my surprise and relief, we were invited to bring my dog down immediately for an evaluation, even though MVAH did not know us. Once there I was so impressed with the level of care we received from Dr. Wojcicki and her staff that I made the decision to transfer vets to make MVAH my dogs permanent veterinarian. I have since had my dog back for a minor illness as well as her annual examination/vaccines and found that same level of caring, compassion, and professionalism that I found so appealing after our first visit. I highly recommend Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital and look forward to having them treat my dog for many more years to come!

I recently switched to MVAH when i moved back into the area. My dog had a skin odor that required many skin scrapings to figure out what was going on. After scraping her down until she bled, at multiple points on her body, they only tested for one problem rather than using the same samples to test for multiple problems, so they then asked me to bring her back in for another scraping. All in all, i learned from other dog owners that is was more than likely an allergy and I should avoid the tall grass with her during the spring. (which worked!) This was after every time i go into MVAH it magically winds up to be $300+ every time. I do not want to say they are not good at their jobs but they are in business to make money and they will do just that. I will not bring my dog back for anything more than shots and regular check ups.

Being worried and confused when ones pet is not feeling well, is so sensitively handled by Dr. Wojcicki and the entire staff. I am grateful to your commitment to give my Spuds and all animals you see the best care and love. I could go nowhere else. I trust you with my little buddy and have great confidence with your medical skills. I always recommend you if someone is asking for a referral. MVAH was responsible for my dog Jacks health care for the past 5 years. The care he received was excellent and appropriate. Dr. Wojcicki did not rush to judgement to recommend test or xrays until it was the very last option. I recently had to put Jack to sleep, due to a serious medical event, and the entire staff were just outstanding. They knew Jack by name and understood how important he was to me. When he died, they felt the sorrow I did. There are no words how highly I recommend their service.

We have 3 cats and a little dog, all seniors. The Vets and their team are really great. They are professional, friendly, loving, and accommodating. The office is clean and organized. I would highly recommend this animal hospital. They go out of their way to make sure you understand what is happening and that all your questions are answered before you leave. I really love how they follow up on each visit and how well they care for our animals.

They always find a gentle and caring way of getting that yearly physical done for my baby Julio, who is totally horrified of the doctors. Ive been very happy with the care that my dog has received at MVAH. They staff are knowledgeable and concerned. They follow up to make sure pet is doing well after an appointment, surgery, etc. Overall, people are friendly, remember who we are, and they are always happy to see our pet even if we just stop by without an appointment. No concerns.

The staff is great here, and you can tell they are people doing what they love! They helped us with our little cocker spaniel as he got older and they were so supportive and wonderful when the time came that we had to put him down due to cancer. We will definitely be coming back with the newest addition to our pack!

My 3 year old lab/pit is a new patient here. She is an anxious dog and MVAH showed such patience with her. Took there time so Roz what comfortable. I had to bring her in a 2nd time for a sick visit and she showed a remarkable difference in her anxiety. The staff and doctors are wonderful.

Recently brought my girl Shiloh in and she was diagnosed with hookworms and whip worms. The staff at MVAH are incredibly friendly and supportive and would highly recommend them. They took time to call a day or 2 after treatment to see how Shiloh was doing. Great staff!
