Im very disappointed in the way I was treated at this Gentle Dental location. I originally came in for a consolation to have my wisdom tooth removed. Despite my over all feeling I must say the dental hygienist assisting the surgeon was wonderful and thats where the compliments end . The surgeon offered to take my wisdom tooth out on the spot. With a lot of novacain I was ready to go. Unfortunately for the surgeon my tooth was much more difficult than expected to remove. I felt bad that I was a difficult patient because the procedure was more complex than anticipated. When sitting up after the procedure the hygienist informed me that my lip got cut a little and wiped some blood away . I asked her and my fiancé who was present how bad it was. While it wasnt that bad, it was clear my lip was cut and would take time to heal. After going home and feeling like my normal self it really bothered me that my lip was cut. I was concerned that it wouldnt heal without scaring and felt that it should never have happened with a little more careful attention. I wrote the office of my concern because I felt it should be discussed. not because I was looking for anything, but because I deserved to have the situation acknowledged. The surgeon called me back the next day and left a voicemail that he never noticed a cut on my lip and that I could have cracked or dry skin from the procedure. Later that day the office manager called and tried to convince me of the same thing. This behavior was totally uncalled for when my fiancé witnessed the procedure, the assistant told me my lip was cut, and I have photos of the cut and its healing process from the day it happened. I dont feel any resolution on the situation that happened to me, and felt that they were more concerned with covering up what really happened than caring for my well being and apologizing . Instead of doing something to correct what had happened to me they sent me a letter inviting me back for future dental work. I will never visit this location again and as someone who works with the public on a regular basis am genuinely dissapointed in this location and wouldnt recommend it .

My name is Paula Weiner and I would like to give you a 5 star rating. My experience at Gentle Dental was just that, extremely gentle. When I first walked in I was greeted by the front desk personnel. It was a warm and friendly environment, which put me at ease since I not happy going to the Dentist. I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Payne and not waiting long made seeing the Doctor less stressful. Little did I know seeing Dr. Payne was even less stressful than waiting for her. She was kind, gentle, knowledgeable, and very professional. I would recommend Gentle Dental to anyone that is in need of dental work. Before I left the Office Manager, Beth, introduced herself to me and made sure my experience was a pleasant one. She also told me that if I have any questions regarding my visit to please contact her and she gave me her phone number. Thank you Gentle Dental, Dr. Payne, Beth and front desk staff.

I made appointment for teeth cleaning. Such a waste time. The person did really bad job on X-ray my teeth, hurt me and did not take good pictures of my teeth, she did few times and I could not take it anymore, so I ask skip this stupid x-ray to every single tooth. So she did my few teeth. And they told me I have to book another appointment to come to do my teeth cleaning, that would be one week later. I have done teeth cleaning in different places, this one is BAD--- filthy carpet, crowded small rooms, the nurse did my x-ray is unprofessional in unpleasant attitude, they make teeth cleaning so hard, so much time wasted. Somehow maybe they have cheaper price but I rather pay a little bit more to a better dental with professional, clean, pleasant environment. I had a bad experience, maybe yours are different, good luck!

So we got there I filled out the form s and wrote down the name of insurance they totally ignore it they did not tell me they did not accept my insurance if they add told me I was going to leave but they decided not to say nothing!!! Poor level of costumer service those receptions are so rude!!! So I add to pay $57.00 so unprofessional not to tell you dont take insurance!!! And they stole my money!!! The girl that did X-ray did terrible job she hurt. Me the whole time!!! I guess she didnt even know what she was doing!!! I will report this to BBB never again!!! Try to be honest in life! And tell people first before you take then in if you dont accept insurance I really dont have money...but I guess thats how the world goes around! AVOID !!!!

I have gone to this practice many times to get cleanings, crowns, root canals and an implant with Dr. Capua. I have had many other dentists in my lifetime but none even came close to my experiences with Dr. Capua and his staff. It starts with a great front desk staff and Colleen is the best and then the hygienist and Dr. are so thorough and caring people. I probably would have lost many teeth over the past 7 years if I did not find this great place. I am truly thankful for all the great work they do. The best part is all of the work was done without pain and that just shows how experienced they all are. Thank you Thank you Thank you Doc and staff! See you in 6 weeks for my next cleaning and check up.

I cant say enough great things about Gentle Dental Malden. Dr. Payne has been my dentist for years. She is thorough, caring, knowledgeable, and has a painless technique. She is trustworthy and honest unlike many other dentists out there. Before I found Gentle Dental another dentist told me I needed two crowns and tried to sell me a bunch of other products. It was like taking your car in for an oil change and being told you have a million repairs. I went in to see Dr. Payne and got an honest opinion from her and ended up saving on unnecessary costs. She is an excellent dentist. Simply the best. The staff are always friendly too. I highly recommend this dental office.

I had to get some ugly front teeth fixed and I put it off for years because I was so afraid of the dentist. I finally decided to go to Dr. Stephanie after a friend highly recommended her office. It was as though I had walked into a different world. Everyone was so nice and instantly put me at ease. There was almost not wait time and when I met with Dr. Stephanie she was extremely thorough and explained how she could make my mouth look fabulous. When she went to work I barely noticed a thing and I felt zero pain. The work was over before I knew it and now my teeth look fantastic. I always get compliments on my smile. Thank you Gentle Dental and Dr. Stephanie.

I chipped my front tooth and my regular Tooth Doctor was on vacation. So, one of friends goes to the Gentle Dental of Malden. I called to see when they could see me. I was expecting for it to be at least a couple of days. To my surprise they could see me right away. The appointment they made was for me to see a Dr Payne. I am very happy to say that the work that Dr Payne did was AWESOME!.!.! You cant even tell anything happened to my front tooth. Beth and the front desk staff were great! Needless to say, I have a NEW Tooth Doctor! I already made an appointment for a cleaning and full check up. Thanks again, Gentle Dental of Malden!.!.!
