I truly hate to give them 2 stars because the staff in the back can be amazing with my 3 year old, but after todays experience, its necessary. My daughter had an 11:15am appt. we arrived at 10:54am since I know from previous experience there is always something that comes up with them such as, insurance issues or misplaced files, etc. Needless to say, they had an insurance issue yet again! I handed them my daughters health insurance card twice today and they still had technical difficulties but what beats that is when I called to schedule the appt. yesterday I gave the woman on the phone her health insurance card number to put through the system. I dont understand why they ask you for it over the phone, then again when you go in, and still have issues pulling it up. So because of the insurance issue me and my daughter sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes without them even telling me and people who got there after us were going in with in 10 minutes of arriving. I went up to ask if she was going to be seen and told them she had a 1:00pm doctor appt. thats when they mentioned they couldnt pull up her insurance and asked for the card AGAIN. 10 minutes later we were called in, the women in the back were with other patients and they did an amazing job, the blonde woman took her time and was very kind and patient with my daughter. (Please dont get me wrong I love how nice and caring they are with the children it really makes me upset that I even have to write a bad review about the place considering how great the staff are.) When she was done she told us the doctor would be right out and would complete the visit. Another 10 minutes later, (now being 12:25, and remember my daughter has a 1p.m. appt.), no sign of a doctor and 7 patients now waiting on a doctor! i walk towards the back and nicely ask the young woman at the desk if she knows how long the doctor will be, my daughter has a doctors appt. coming very close, she said she was with another patient and should be done very soon, the doctor will come in and go down the rows, ok, fine. The doctor now comes in shortly after speaking with the woman and begins on the opposite row with children who arrived long after my daughter. I then get up and begin to walk out, the woman who told me the doctor was coming out shortly told me she would only be about 5 mins with each patient and i had 5 people ahead of me! I have very limited time for this doctor to complete the visit before I race to the next appt. 2 HOURS AT KOOL SMILES FOR A CLEANING AND THE APPT. WAS NOT COMPLETED TODAY! Does anyone else feel my frustration at this point? Now i call to speak with a manager because that was just insane! As i was walking out another family walked out without doing their visit. The manager tells me there is only ONE DOCTOR handling the whole building! Im not sure how they expect this one doctor to complete all of these visits and patients! Someone needs to change the scheduling If i waited 2 hours and it wasnt completed i can only imagine how many other people have walked out, or been there longer for completed visits. Someone needs to solve this issue. This was strike 2 and i am on the fence about EVER RETURNING!

Carol Ciampi Dugan
My name is Carol Ciampi Dugan and I can not say enough wonderful things about Kool Smiles. I never thought I would find a dentist as wonderful with children than Dr. Azita. This is after taking my then 3 year old son who had a very traumatic experience with a previous dentist office. They were cold and didnt understand how to deal with a scared little boy for a cleaning. They held him down and scared him and made him not want to go to a dentist. A year later I noticed an abscess in my sons front gum line. Now where do I take him? Hearing of Kool Smiles, we went there for an emergency visit. My son had an abscess due to an accident he had when he was a baby. He needed his two front teeth pulled out and a lot of other work done. After clearly explaining to me what needed to be done, they offered to have the procedure done with him under anesthesia. But with the fear my son already held I asked Dr. Azita if we could do a few visits and prioritize what was necessary. I felt my son needed to trust the dentists and not be fearful of a dental experience. Dr. Azita agreed and that is what we did. She not only took care of my sons dental work she gained his trust. The way she talked to him and explained things to then a 4 year old is an experience I am so grateful for to her. He is now 7 years old and I still have no problems taking him to Kool Smiles. I also have a special needs son who is now 9. Taking him to a dentist is a task all of its own. I asked Dr. Azita if I could take my other son and she accepted him with no hesitation. The whole office including the girls who take the x-rays were so patient and understanding. They were wonderful with him. They are understanding and put no pressure on him or me. We do what we can for the visit they get his cleanings in and we keep working on getting those x-rays. Dr. Azita and the staff at Kool Smiles have my utmost gratitude for being a kid friendly dental office where my kids love to go. I wish all the medical appointments I have to go to with my children were as kid friendly as Kool Smiles. It makes my life as a parent less stressful. Thank you Dr. Azita and all the staff for a wonderful experience now going on 3 years. My kids mouths are healthy and they do not fear dental appointments thanks to all of you. My only wish is that I had known about Kool Smiles when I was searching for a dentist in the beginning.

DINAMARTA HONORATO
I made an appointment by the phone, in search of a clinic that is closer to my home. I shouldve been somewhere in Chelsea, but the person on the phone from Kool Smile couldnt make the appointment for me. So she made an appointment for me in Roxbury, so I went there and I was attended after many people ahead of me but the disappointment isnt in the long wait. Its in the fact that when I got in my car and looked in the mirror my teeth werent any whiter and they were still in pain. When I saw this I was very sad because there was a dark substance on my teeth, and this took away my liberty to smile when in fact I went there to walkout with a clearer smile, I went looked for a different dentist to tell me why my teeth hurt so much and he told me it would hurt for 6months, he found it strange that the dentist at Kool smiles didnt give me any pain medication, and I also wanted a different substance on my teeth, one that wasnt black and thats when they told me I needed to do two root canals and two crowns, which is something that I wouldnt have to do if a clearer substance was put on my teeth. They never asked me what I wanted or told me anything the dentist just worked extremely fast due to the long wait period. So this is a very expensive treatment that I cant pay. So I didnt like the color of the substance used on my teeth and much less the the pain in which I had a lot of cost with because I had to buy a lot of medicine. Roxbury was also too far for me, so I called to continue my treated in Chelsea and it was still bad there as well. Everytime I called I was put on hold and they didnt give me much attention at all. I couldnt even schedule an appointment that I could attend, the receptionist would schedule for me on a date that neither I nor my sons could attend. So I had to cancel work many times to go to the dentists and many times they would call me canceling my appointment with a different excuse everytime, and I lost time and money with this. I dont recommend Kool Smiles for anybody.
