This place is TERRIBLE! I went in for the first time to just get my teeth cleaned. I have near perfect oral health. I was sitting in the waiting room, heard the receptions talking about how the computer system went down. Regardless, they took me late, did a bunch of X-rays, and then sat me down for an exam. I didnt really want one, I just wanted my teeth cleaned and a cavity check. Anyway, the hygienist then came in a lectured me on my heart condition (mitral valve prolapse) that my cardiologist told me was not an issue and is really nothing to be concerned about given I have no other heart issues. The hygienist rudely told me I couldnt have my teeth cleaned because I needed to be "pre-medicated" with a bunch of antibiotics because of my heart condition. The ADA does not recommend this for my specific heart condition/symptoms. Then she tells me the system is down anyway so I have to schedule to come back another day. So basically all I wanted to do was get my teeth cleaned and I left with a million X-rays and a phone call tomorrow to drag me back in for another appointment. Needless to say Im requesting my X-rays sent elsewhere and never going back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The most terrible experience Ive ever had. I chose this place to go for my check up because its close to my work and I could go during my lunch break. My appointment supposed to be @2 pm, I arrived 10 mins before as they asked. I was waiting for 55 mins and no one even came to me, the only thing I saw - bunch of workers were chatting at the reception desk. Then 5 mins later (@2:50) Ive been called... I said that I have to leave because obviously I have to go back to work and 10 or 20 mins of the remaining time is not going to be enough for my appointment. As Ive been told that the reason for such a long waiting time was 1 x-ray machine. And I had 2 ppl right before me (they have been called @2:00) so I cant say it was very busy there. Why do you schedule people so close to each other then? After I told them that I have to leave and not going to re-schedule my appointment today the dentist or whoever was it just turned her back and left, no apologies...

The staff at the Quincy office always friendly. However, during this recent visit for my 6 month routine cleaning, they checked my gum and told me I needed deep cleaning. I do brush my teeth everyday with ultrasonic brush, use floss, and antiseptic mouth wash. I asked them why my gums suddenly got worse after 6 months? She does not know. She refused to give me regular cleaning and referred me to the front desk to schedule a follow-up appointment to do deep cleaning. After I asked the staff to confirm my insurance coverage, she gave me a print-out that shows I need to pay over $1000 out of pocket after insurance. I asked them to postpone the deep cleaning appointment until next year after I save up the money and requested for the regular cleaning instead. They refused. I was very surprised that I am not allowed to choose the type of service I want to receive. You know that feeling that hits you when you are being scammed? That what I felt at the time.

I went in as a VERY nervous patient getting my first filling and deep cleaning ever. The staff was amazing. I want to especially acknowledge the hygenist MarieCelly (spelling? sorry!). Not only was she knowledgable, skilled and efficient, but she made an effort to empathize and personalize the experience based on the needs of the person in the chair. She explained everything in detail, was very factual, and remained positive about how to improve my overall health. Id stick with this office for her alone! She also kept me laughing, and honestly who can say that about a dentists visit? While being honest, the dentist themselves left little to no impression and were much more systematic vs personable. Also, the office manager helped me find reasonable finacial options, was willing to work with my budget, and gave me all the information up front (including mentioning the optional toothpaste and wash someone else wrote about). Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Just moved to Boston, wanted a simple teeth cleaning and so I scheduled at Aspen. Turns out that the first appt. is not for cleaning, but for a check up (my teeth are fine and a phone call to my old dentist would produce these records). Even though nothing was actually done to my teeth besides a visual exam and xray for the records, they billed the insurance almost $500. They then told me that I owed $106 on checkout. Not for copay- but for products that they placed in my floss and brush bag. $32 toothpaste, $35 mouthwash...really?? Be sure you check every item on your bill- you dont have to buy those things. This is run like a corporation and not a business- they try to sell you on various extra products and services that are not covered by insurance. So after that I have to go back to actually get a cleaning. Oh, and cleanings require not one but 2 visits. Staff is friendly, but steer clear.

I had a great expierience and I was in pain when I arrived at the door of Aspen Dental. I met the sweetest dental assistant, Kristen, in the parking lot who made me feel like I had come to the right place. After entering I knew it was true. It was a beautiful office with great music and an incredibly friendly staff. They made me feel so comfortable and they wanted me to be satisfied. Juline is who I needed to talk to. She completely understood my needs and was willing to work with me so I could leave there pain free and financially in tact! We laughed and talked. I recommended them to someone who mentioned needing dental work about 30 minutes after leaving their office. Thank you to the entire staff and Dr Rahman from the woman who never liked the dentist! Special Thank you to Medaliah, who took care of my situation from beginning to end! "Everything happens for a reason"

Well after reading a lot of negative reviews and not really having a choice of going there because I have no dental insurance and in desperate need of getting some dental work done and needed to finance it so I decided to take to plunge and make an appointment. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to the dentist and anxiety thru the roof but I needed to get it done cause I have held off way too long. So I went made my appointment after all that I have gone thru the deep cleaning some extractions (which was traumatizing to me)and what not but I knew what I was in for and what needed to be done and I honestly couldnt be happier. The staff is extremely nice and really make you feel comfortable I really dont have anything bad to say about them!! Ill be moving out of Quincy soon and even tho they will transfer my stuff I will actually miss the Quincy crew!

Not recommended unless you have money coming out of you ears. The staff is very friendly, I had a quick check up and they said I should get a deep cleaning. I even had a consultation with one of their people and I specifically asked "Will this be covered by my insurance? Will I have to pay out of pocket for this?" and the guy said "yes, it should be covered". Weeks later I get a bill for the cleaning. The people are friendly, but this company really just wants money. Do not go to this place unless you SPECIFICALLY ask for an estimated cost BEFORE you have the service done, or youll probably get scammed. Even then, their friendly staff is not worth the over-priced cost of this scamming company.
