Pretty place with awful people. I visited kool smiles in new bedford for my 4 year sons dental check up. Doctor came and saw the teeth before cleaning and spent total of a minute... yes just a minute may be 48 secs. in between the nurse cleaning the teeth. The second technician came and took x ray of 4 year boy without mentioning parents, why they are exposing my 4 year old child to the so many 4 x-rays. She did write something in the computer and give me exit papers and told me next time they will do 2 teeth stainless steel capping and two teeth cleaning and filling because of cavities. Well here are the flaws of the visit. - Doctor never talk a word to me as a guardian or talk even my son. - Did not brief me what is actually wrong with my sons teeth and why he took that decision or why he think that is required to take x rays. I was hoping Doctor will come back and check the teeth after it is clean for the better look. Also will explain me what is his next step. - Second technician, just brief me what is required as a treatment and she was there with a pre appointment card for the follow up cleaning. Without even asking me what days I am available to bring my son back, she just gave an appointment time and date to come back. Really...! Not even explain what to do how to prohibit the further decay of teeth.. nothing. All she was interested is getting sign from me so she can have paper saying she did her job well. I wish have are name to write here. - She just left after dumping all that complimentary brush for kid. My appointment was near the end of the day makes staff members very in efficient in their work. I would not recommend any one to go and see those staff members ever.

I have been taking my son to kool smiles for years He is thirteen and is always ready to go everyone there has always been freindly and treated us with respect that is until today 4/10/13 at our 4:15 apointment No greating no respect nasty girl at the desk pink sweatshirt at least two sizes to small so rude we did not stay Glad it was for just a cleaning.Being in the same parking lot as my buisness has been great too but Im sure I can find another dentist lose the nasty girl bring back the ladies with class or I wont be the only one talking poor poor poor left the office with a sour taste in my mouth and my sons teeth still need a cleaning

Awesome place! Got my dental work done and after came back to request for donations. Myself along with other UMass Dartmouth students were trying to get hygiene products for those in poverty in Guatemala. Without hesitation this location donated 3 bags full of toothbrushes. I want to thank Chris and Lindsey for their awesome contribution to helping those in need. The donations will be given over spring break by 6 students from UMassD who will travel over to Guatemala. This place has great customer service and they know exactly what they are doing. Very professional environment. Thank you!

Been here twice the first time was ok the bill was different from what I was quoted in the phone no big deal. The second time there is a different doctor and he is trying to change everything that needs to be done for my son. The assistant was extremely rude the entire time, and while they were working on my son they had a timer running in the room because they were overbooked. This is not an airline how are you overbooked what are you doing here were they going to stop mid filling and leave when the timer went off?? Awful place take your business elsewhere.

My daughter went in today to have a pediatric crown put in, due to a cracked tooth. The staff was awesome! Everything was explained in detail, all insurance issues were taken care of and we were seen in short order. She was very nervous and crying. Linda was great! She helped sooth her and made my daughter feel comfortable. All novicaine and drilling was done with care and such stealth that my daughter wasnt even aware it was happening. In half hour we were on our way home with a happy child and new tooth. Thank you!

Brought my children in for a cleaning and was advised that my daughter had 4 cavities requiring crowns. We went for a 2nd opinion and while there were 4 cavities, none of them were serious enough to require crowns. She got 2 fillings and the other 2 cavities are too small to fill. I am very dissatisfied and cant help but wonder if my "commercial" insurance, aka Delta Dental, had something to do with the suggestion of crowns. I will never return to Kool Smiles.

My son was very nervous and afraid going to the dentist !! We were then brought in by the Dental Assistant Desiree she was awesome she explained everything in great detail she is very Professional at what she does.She was so compassionate,comforting,the most positive attitude Love her!!! She has made my childs experience one of the best he now looks forward going to the dentist because of her. Greatly Appreciated wish there were more like her out there...

I must say that I had some doubts about going to look smiles as I was thinking that it was more of a childrens dentist, I am a 52 year old female and I will say that they were excellent! On top of it all my procedure was a difficult extraction and as I said, the dr Roy Kim was marvellous! After many years of experiences with bad dentistry I have found a great place! Also if Dr Roy Kim ever starts his own practice I would love to be a patient. Thank you J F

I have been going to Kool Smiles for 6 years now and I love it! Today I had Desiree and Dr. Kim. I have been there several times throughout the years and always found the staff pleasant, compassionate and respectful. I have never had a bad experience! Woke up with an extremely painful toothache. Call Kool Smiles and got an appointment the same day. The visit was extremely pleasant from the check in at the front counter to the actual visit. The dental assistant Meghan took great care of me and was exceptional. The found the problem and remedied it quickly. Cant say enough about this place. Great service and great staff. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I love Dr. Kim, he did an awesome job on what I was there for and even helped me out with other dentistry I was not scheduled for. I HATE going to the dentist in general since an accident to my mouth when I was 14. I love going to Kool Smiles. Ana and Desiree are awesome too. They always get me in and out quick and give me any financial information I need up front.

Desiree was my dental assistant for this visit and she was hilarious. Like the majority of people who go to the dentist for x-rays and fillings I was quite anxious. All of the laughter made this visit a pleasant one. Desiree is competent and loves her job. All of my dental needs were taken care of that day in a professional yet friendly manner.
