This place and (Dr. Umberto Rossetti) is very good--and I know because I am not an easy patient, am sensitive to tone, frugal, get offended, and never like whats in style. So heres the story: Other places I have gone freak out when I want to re-use old frames. They go through a scare technique ("...these are so OLD, do you see these stress fractures? nobody could do, that cant be done, these will just break if anybody tries to replace the lenses...." etc.) Dr. Rossettis response was "Are you sure? Well, Ill have to be careful." Have now done it TWICE. Also filled a third, different script, of single vision lenses instead of the fancy progressives --that have been just excellent for almost two years (one fine scratch only) and more often than not I fall asleep on them. Oh, and what has inspired me now to take the time to write--he just compelled the company to send the latest pair overnight because Im going away. By the way--first met when I was having difficulty backing into a parking place and he was just passing by -- and stopped to guide me into the spot.

I usually get glasses from discount places but I needed mine to be done quickly and not only was Mr. Rosetti very helpful, but he evaluated my particular needs and explained what my best options were without trying to sell me more than what I needed. I needed to use my old frames and that was okay with him. I had planned to use an older prescription that I brought with me as I can not see without glasses but he checked out a different frame I had as an emergency and was able to put my old lenses into that frame! It wasnt an exact fit but they were totally usable and I was very grateful to have that option. I too went here because of the good reviews and was very happy that I did so.

A year ago, I went to Rossetti for an eye exam and my first pair of glasses. I enjoyed my experience with them then. A year later, I ended up losing my glasses with no luck finding it. I gave Umberto a call, and explained my situation. He told me to come in and hell take care of me. I get to Rossetti around 5pm, and he helped me pick out a few frames. I no longer have the eye plan under my insurance. Regardless of that fact, he really gave me a good price, not for one frame and lenses, but for two pairs. Two days later, my glasses were ready, and I can see clearly again. Thank you Umberto, you have a loyal customer. To anybody looking, give this place a try. You wont be disappointed.

I picked up my 5th pair of glasses from this shop the other day and could not be more pleased. In addition to the all-around friendly service, Umberto is great at selecting frames. I bought the first one he picked out. Even though I tried others, the first was the best. And I appreciated the extra time he took to explain my new prescription written specifically for long stretches of computer work.

Signore Umberto Rossetti is a true Goomba. He took good care of me, i may add, very good and compassionate care. I got a nice pair of glasses, a box of biscotti and a limoncello to go with a super cappucino from Modern Pastry. A true gentleman, wish there were many more like him. I came in because my only pair of glasses had broken and I didnt have contacts. Rossetti optique helped me out and fixed my glasses gave me new lenses and a new pair with a lifetime gaurantee for a great price. Now I am going to go there for eye check up and they are my new optomotrist. Go there they are the best in the area by far.
