Awful office practices. Scheduled a first available appointment for my son (existing patient) for an exam since he was overdue by two years and was experiencing an issue anyway so figured couldnt hurt to kill two birds with one stone. My insurance covers our exams 100%. The appointment was apparently scheduled as a medical issue primary and exam secondary and not the other way around as intended. Long story short, we had to pay $300 out of pocket for exams that should have been covered 100%. There was an additional test done to check into the small issue my son was having that prompted the routine exam which we fully expected to pay for not covered under the 100%. We argued this with the billing department, twice, and they would not own up to the error or recode the visit for the portion covered 100%. Bad, bad, bad practice. Will NOT be coming back to the place again. By the way, the specialist doctor only spent 2 minutes with my son to discuss the issue, all of the other routine exams were done by other staff members. Very unprofessional.

Gave a 1 because I never even made it as far as making an appointment, because the front desk was so rude. I called to make an appointment for my grandson for strabismus (lazy eye) she had no idea what I was even saying. You work for an ophthalmologist you should know the terminology. Then I asked her how far they were booking out she said 1 month. So I then asked if it is okay to wait that long he is only 2. To which She replied "thats up to you" I said could you please check with the doctor. She seemed irritated by this. She gets back on the phone and says the best we can do is August 29th @ 8:15 am. I said do you have anything later. She says " thats all we have do you want it or not? I said "no Im all set" and hung up. Dont think I was asking much I was concerned about a toddlers vision.

Visited Milford with an appointment that was setup by Franklin office after and appointment we had there. We showed up on day and time that was told to us. They RUDELY told us that WE did not have an appointment. They couldnt take ownership of the mix up. What were they thinking that we would just walk in. They initially did nothing to help us. Someone from out back came out and did help us get in after a short wait. Front desk needs to be trained in customer service, she should be told the customer is the most important person in the office. Without the customer she doesnt have a job!

Front desk is horrible. Apts are consistently late by an hour or more. Dr. Kaldawy is rude and unprofessional.
