The worst experience. They attempted a root canal 3 times in one week and still had throbbing pain. Each time they went back in they kept charging me more and more. They wanted to attempt again to finish it but I declined. I went to a root canal specialist and it was fixed in minutes. Since they had already charged my insurance company and maxed out my limits when they started the root Canal I had to pay again at the new dentist for the root canal to be redone . My wife called to get refunded and the woman at the desk was rude and argued not letting her talk. I called and she taunted me laughed, muted me and hung up on me. I called twice requesting to talk with the dr. Since I was getting no where and I never received a call back. They did however keep sending me a bill....kept tacking on late fees and interest. I paid bill in full and took my entire family to a new dentist. Im very disappointed in everything that transpired. They should have handled this differently.

I work an hour from home and broke a tooth at lunch Friday. Called my now former dentist and they said there was nothing they could do because they closed at 2p. I explained that the tooth needed to fixed sooner than Monday because the jagged edge kept cutting my tongue but they still didnt help. I googled dentists in the area and Newburyport Family Dental popped up. A very pleasant woman answered the phone and I explained the situation. Without hesitation she said to get there as soon as I could and they would fix the tooth for me. The very friendly and personable Dr Chiou stayed late and fixed the tooth. All our dental needs will now go to Newburyport Family Dental!

I have seen Dr. Reczek as my dentist since I was a child. He has become a trusted part of my familys health team and has been a friend to myself and my parents for many years. Within the last few years, Dr. Chiou has taken over as my dentist. Dr. Chiou is an excellent doctor who is enjoyable to see for appointments. He has a passion and commitment to his work that I appreciate. Newburyport Family Dental maintains an impeccable office with a wonderful and warm staff. I look forward to going to the dentist!
