I am writing this review early on, as I have only had one initial visit for exam, x-rays, and consultation with Dr. Lisa Murray. I may update in the future, but right now Im motivated to leave this very positive review because I was very impressed with her.. After a lifetime of going to the dentist about every 4-6 months, we fell on some hard times and the dentist had to take a back seat for approx. 10 years! My dental condition is not good and Im looking at a lot of expensive work, but needed to find a dentist to get established with that I liked and who would work with me as I need to pay cash and pretty much live week to week. I currently live in Ipswich and didnt want to travel very far. This office is right by the train tracks off Rt. 1A in S. Hamilton. Dr. Murray is very kind, personable and caring, and I cant stress the importance of this enough-thorough. More thorough than Ive ever encountered any dentist to be. I only waited about 10 mi. to see her and during that time could overhear a lot of her very friendly interactions with patients. When it was my turn to have time with her I liked her right away-very impressed. I feel sure that she is someone I can continue with indefinitely with comfort. She does not offer sedation dentistry like I was hoping for-nitrous oxide, but I think she will be gentle and I wont have as much anxiety as I anticipated. I have appts. set up for work to be done, and after talking with her I dont feel as nervous as I did before about going back to have procedures done. I would sy the only drawback to this office is the hours , which will be very inconvenient for many people. Id like to have my husband switch to Dr. Murray because he currently has had a few visits at an almost "clinic-type" uncaring facility, but I dont know if he can make appts. within the very limited hours available. He really needs either early evening or weekend appts., none of which are available. She is only open during the day Mon-Thurs. and thats it, and he would have a lot of trouble missing work to be able to go there. I hope there are changes in the future and he will be able to switch. At some point I will switch my son over also, but only if its a day where there isnt school, because missing school time is not good for him. Hes currently sen on Saturdays at pediatric office, but no close by. To sum up, Dr. Murray is a great lady, a wonderful dentist, and I look forward to continuing with her, but if you need flexibility with hours, you may have trouble here and need to find some place else. I'm a new patient of Dr Murray's and had some dental work done by her today for the first time. I am so pleased with how the work went that I wanted to write a review- something I don't often do - to get the word out. If someone is looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend Dr Murray. I've been putting off a visit for a few years due to not having insurance, and also because my last visit to a dentist was a terrible experience that left me scared stiff to go back. Delta Dental in NH is like the fast food of dentistry, cheap and bad quality care. I took Valium before those visits and still clenched my teeth through the whole visit, swearing I'd never eat sugar again. Even with novacaine, my mouth hurt terribly from all the pinching, squeezing and stretching of instruments and hands in my mouth. Hated every second of it. So I was shaking today when I went into the office, but Dr Murray's staff made me comfortable and put me at ease. I had 4 fillings done which took an hour and a half, but it was the easiest and most painless time I've ever spent in a dentist's chair. Dr Murray and the technician were skillful and gentle. They didn't cram my mouth with stuff, gave me breaks to rinse my mouth and even offered me a warm towel at the end. Wow, I am impressed. If you're looking for a dentist, I really don't think you could do any better.

Simply the best! I have been a patient of hers for almost 20 years. Her office is now a 40 min drive for me but completely worth it. Her staff is both friendly and highly competent. What separates Dr. Murray from the rest of the dentist in her field, she clearly has a passion for her work. More importantly, she is a constant student of her craft. She has annual trainings for her staff, my previous dentists never had this dedication. Krystyna is the dental hygienist and she handles the teeth cleaning. My wife and I had both had our teeth cleaned and we were quite satisfied with the level of work put in. A dentist who puts the time and effort to keep up with dental advancements, keep and train a highly organized and efficient staff is the person that should be your dentist and one youre willing to travel to great distances to get to!

From my very first appointment years ago, Dr. Murray and her staff have always provided professional and compassionate care for both my dental health as well as my overall health. My questions and concerns are always answered in great detail. Dr. Murray has more than once had to respond to emergency (off-hours) calls from me, and she has done so quickly and compassionately. In addition, I recently watched her as she trained a dental assistant. This was done with patience and with clear explanations for every procedure she reviewed. Dr. Murray keeps herself up-to-date with the most recent advances in dental techniques, and her office is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that adds value to patient care.

I have been very happy with my care at Dr. Murrays office. The dentist, assistant and hygienist do a good job of clearly explaining my treatment plans and the out-of-pocket costs for my treatments. Dr. Murray and the hygienist have always been on time, and I had a good experience scheduling an emergency appointment when a crown needed to be adjusted. I would certainly recommend Dr. Murray to other patients!

I have been going to Dr. Lisa for about 8 years now, I have never had anything but positive experiences there. I must admit I am a very afraid of the dentist and Dr. Lisa and Sue are very calming and patient with me. She and her staff are great, I have had them fit me in when I know she is busy but she makes it happen. Very professional and I would highly recommend her.

Best dentist I have been to in years. I went in for a tooth alignment and the educated dentist helped work with me to figure out the plan the worked best for me. Came back for a tooth ache a coupe months later and the dentist even got me in, during closed hours. Such a relief and an absolute pleasure to work with. Will be back and do recommend to anyone

The staff at Dr. Lisa Murrays office are kind, courteous, and professional. We have been patients for about 4 years. Krystyna does a great job for me, my wife, and my 2 kids (4 and 6) for cleanings and hygiene maintenance. Dr. Murray is an expert dentist at the top of her game.
