1star because i have2 give something to tell u about my experience..which...THEY ASK U FOR...freedom of speech..its a law.. Its in the amendment..my friends told me to not go there but i always believed that until i see it or experience it Ill make my own decision..my visit was to have a tooth that was broken at the root leaving me in severe pain to b taken out. Dentist came in room.NEVERr introduced himself.never said what the plan would b and what would could b done. He numbed me up..left the room..came back in..not asking if i felt anything and went for the tooth beside the tooth that was broken..a perfectly good tooth. I asked what and why he was doing that and his answer was Because your going to end up with a plate so Im pulling that tooth.. I said no..i do not want a plate i am planning on a post..he said well we dont do posts.and i said well i dont want u to pull that tooth but please help with the tooth that i am in severe pain with. He got up.never said a word and i sat there thinking he will come back and explain another route..lol..but he never came back and i was just left there. I got up and went home in pain with nothing..nothing for an infection.nothing but..what route..lol..do i take now?? I blogged my experience and after my blog i repeatedly recieved messages that it is time for my checkup.i called and they said i needed to see an oral surgeon to take the broken tooth out.was never told to me at the time though. Well blog was put in my files and when i called to maybe get my teeth cleaned which he could of done while i was left sitting there..because i thought maybe one bad experience was just that..one bad experience.. Let me try again.since they keep telling me to come in for my visit.i went in for the referral and woman at desk opened my file and believe it or not thedentist was sitting out in front and and she pulled out my review right in front of me and i watched him shaking his head no..that i can not b seen there.. Not a word about.were sorry about that experience what could we do to make it better..no...she embarrassed me by blatantly shoving my review under his nose.horrified and embarrassed i went in my car to look for review i had posted and it was gone.. So..anyone that has been here and has had an bad experience it doesnt matter to them.. Imagine going back to give it another try and not knowing that she types up every review and having that dentist working on u???.. Omg!! Now Im afraid to go to the oral surgeon i need to go to.. They never contacted me telling me i needed an oral surgeon until I CALLED.. YOUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS BEING VIOLATED AND I WAS ACTUALLY WILLING TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER TRY!! MY FRIENDS WERE RIGHT!! IT IS JUST LIKE GOING INTO A CATTLE CALL TO B SLAUGHTERED..HE DOESNT TELL U A THING ABOUT ANYTHING CUZ HES TO BUSY RUNNING FROM ROOM TO ROOM.. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT HE DOES COSMETIC SURGERY FOR SO CALLED..SPECIAL PEOPLE AND FINAGILING THE INS..DID THEY SEND MY REVIEW TO THE ORAL SURGEON?? I DONT KNOW..WILL I B CUT UP AND LEFT WITH A INFECTED GUM WHERE THE TOOTH NEEDS TO B TAKEN OUT..IM SORRY..THE TOOTH IS GONE. ITS JUST THE ROOT OF THE TOOTH THAT IS EXPOSED AND WAS LEFT EXPOSED BECAUSE I WAS NEVER TOLD OTHERWISE.. YES..FREEDOM OF SPEECH WAS DEFINITELY VIOLATED..THERE WAS NO NEED FOR HER TO SHOVE THAT PAPER IN HIS FACE WHILE I WAS STANDING THERE.. HUMILIATED!! NEVER SAID HE WAS SORRY I FELT THAT WAY..AND NEVER CARED BECAUSE ALL HE WANTED WAS THAT MONEY..IM CURIOUS NOW TO S IF HE CHARGED THE INS CO FOR NOTHING HE HAD DONE EXCEPT GET PISSED OFF CUZ I WOULDNT LET HIM PULL A PERFECTLY GOOD TOOTH!! Yes!! To the girl who wrote HACK JOB..YES!!TO THE MAN WHO SAID WORSTEXPERIENCE!! THEY ARE TAKEN DOWN AS FAST AS U POST THEM.. Im more terrified now to go to the oral surgeon and have no relief from the pain and the nontooth that u can see when i smile.. I dont smile anymore..and Im horrified and feel violated that the receptionist did what she did right in front of my face.and to leave me in the condition i was left in. i felt like a Begger for referal. Suing!.

I could not find a Dentist on Mass Health to pull my teeth for over a year & 1/2 plus I had extream Dental phobia from the last 3 Dentist who pulled me,my childrens teeth over 10 yrs.ago,we are now all terrified of Dental visits....last friday I had two teeth pulled with plenty of numbing gel & novicain for a change & tommrow will be only the second time in 57 yrs.Ive had my teeth cleaned,I have never had a filling even thought I need a mouthful I am excited that Dr.Patels & his team will finally fix my mouth....The Doctor was great and cared enough to start to make me a partial plate as Ive been chewing on my gums (or the 2 bad teeth he just pulled that hurt for sooo long},plus the Dental assistant helped me calm down enough to not run out of the room & trust that they would listen to me if I had any pain they would stop until I was comfortable enough to finish the removal process....I cant tell you how happy I am to not have to rely on oral gel to get me through the day! I hope anyone who has Dental fear or cant find a compassionate Dental team on Mass Health,knows that this is the place that will help them,their Families never suffer needlessly ever again during their Dental visits.........Deborah Hixon of Plymouth,Mass.

I went here for X-rays and a cleaning. The person giving the X-rays was clearly inexperienced but we managed to get them done when she got some assistance. Theres nothing wrong it takes some experience on the job to improve your skill level, that goes for everyone myself included. However I was not happy at all with my cleaning. The dental assistant did some light scraping of my teeth and an ultra-quick waxing with the circular brush. The main doctor came in to check in on my x-rays and bite and seemed smart and competent and he and the dental assistant worked again on my teeth for another 2 minutes. I didnt expect him to do much since I know the main doctor tends to circulate in and out of rooms checking on patients performing the high skill labor. I was also informed that this dentist does not have dental hygienists. I have no idea how they are supposed to perform cleanings without those type of experts on staff. I have had some amazing and thorough cleanings in my day and this one was definitely well below bar. I did not complain at the actual visit but was extremely disappointed. If you do get a cleaning here you may want to ask if/why they dont have dental hygienists on staff.

Dr. Patel cleaned my teeth and extracted one the following month. He was courteous, kind and compassionate and handled a routine cleaning deftly and an extraction expertly. Having a great dentist is important and I am grateful to have my dental care in good hands. Thank you to all the supporting staff as well who assisted Dr. Patel directly as hygienist and receptionist. The professionalism of all staff is welcomed and appreciated. The December 2015 cleaning and January 2016 extraction are the latest experiences. I have been going to Dr. Dental in Plymouth for three years with tremendous success. ~ K.W.
